We were on the June 5 sailing of the Eclipse. Our boarding time was 11:30 and we got to the port at about that time. We were in a Celebrity Suite. There was virtually no priority anywhere in the boarding process for Retreat guests.
The first line we joined was to drop off our luggage. It moved quickly, there was no indication of a priority line for that. Then we went through the security line followed by the US Customs line. Again, no indication of priority lines for either. Then we lined up for check in. There was one person at the front of the line directing each party to a check in agent, sort of down an aisle with a slew of agents with tablets lined up off to each side. That is the first time we saw a sign for a Retreat/Zenith check in agent. But the person directing us sent us to a different agent who was available.
The whole process took maybe 30 minutes? No one checked our assigned boarding time and no one asked if we were in the Retreat, or Concierge or Aqua, or Elite+ .... during the entire boarding process.
There were 2 other ships boarding the same day.

We enjoyed Sushi on 5 for lunch one day on the Eclipse last week. We were well fed with a bill of $60.

We are just back from the June 5 sailing. We were told 2100 passengers onboard. For the most part, we thought service was OK. Service of our cabin was inconsistent, some days late afternoon and other times mid morning.
We were in a Celebrity Suite with a large balcony, made use of it quite a bit. We had them bring an extra lounger as there was only the one, with a table and 3 chairs. Unfortunately, someone on the balcony below us was a smoker and smoked on his balcony. We called reception twice when we noticed it, they apologized but I am not sure they ever spoke to him. It is amazing even while sailing the smoke wafted up to us, ugh. He was back out there smoking as we were docked in Vancouver, just before we disembarked.
We both wore masks except while eating or drinking. We never rode the elevator, quite the hike up to 11 when you board from deck 2 after a day ashore! We enjoyed the shows, tried to sit away from others. The presentations by Milos were interesting.
We loved the Liars Club, so funny, but the riskiest environment with quite a few people attending. We popped into Michaels Club for the meet and greet with senior officers but left as it was jammed packed. We tested at home this morning, negative, so hopefully that does not change. We just want to be sure before we meet up with friends.
We ate every meal in Luminae, save for the one lunch when it was not open. We had lunch in Sushi on 5 that day, first time for us and we enjoyed it. We had great service from Tarun & Ali in Luminae, and we liked the food.

Celebrity Silhouette not showing on cdc Cruise Ship Status Dashboard. Anyone know why?
It is in Europe, so not reported to CDC. As far as I know, no similar reporting in Europe.

Did you all have to call in to get the rep to apply them ?
We did not see where we could put it in online so we called Celebrity and later transferred our booking to our TA.

We used our FCC as a deposit , sailing this Sunday.

Who have you booked your test with now?
We are doing it at a clinic in Kelowna before we drive to Vancouver. In the June 5 Eclipse roll call someone mentioned they were able to book at a Shoppers Drug Mart near the port. Someone else mentioned CVM would refund their money and also test them for free at one of their other locations (Vancouver airport or a hotel near the airport). Maybe try to call or email CVM and see what they will do for you?

Why on earth would they close this site?
I know! It was so convenient. I just noticed they finally updated their website to say it is 'temporarily closed until further notification'. Not much help if you are cruising soon. We cancelled our appointments online, we hope the refund is done quickly. Good luck.

If you're asking about Vancouver, there is a testing center at Canada Place. It's run by CVM Medical. That's where I'm taking my pre-cruise test next month.
When is your test scheduled? I found out yesterday that the CVM location at the pier is closing on June 1. We have scrambled to find another testing site on June 3 near home for our June 5 cruise.

A heads up for people sailing out of Vancouver. The CVM Medical testing location at the pier is apparently closing on Wednesday June 1. Hubby and I had tests scheduled for June 4 and we found out about the closure by accident. We have not heard formally. Luckily we have been able to schedule one with another company.

We fly to Seattle from UK for 3 nights before boarding C Solstice for an Alaskan cruise to Vancouver. We'll have had a Covid test the day before flying. I presume the ship will also want a test done before boarding. How do we go about arranging this? We'll be staying in a hotel in central Seattle .
Will we also need to do another before we stop in Victoria, Canada?
Thanks for any help.
You will need a rapid test no more than 2 days before you board, and you can't do it the day you board. Sorry, I can't help with Seattle testing locations, I think if you search these boards you may find some help on that. The test you get to board is all you need, you do not need an additional test to stop in Canada. You do however have to complete the ArriveCan app. Make sure you down load it and complete within 3 days of your sailing.

Hubby checked us both in, on same reservation number, and we got different times, mine 11:30 and his 12:00. He had to check us in serially in the app. Good luck with yours.

It is usually 8AM to be out of your cabin.

We lost our Sunset Veranda cabin due to it being occupied by quarantine passengers
That would be a big disappointment, what type cabin did you end up in? I hope Celebrity looked after you.

it doesn't show any activities for the 5/22 cruise nor are the menu's loaded.
It's being de-barnacled, so no May 22 cruise. I am on the June 5th Eclipse cruise and waiting to see what shows, nothing so far.

If you can book one of the four deep angled balconies
We had one of these CS booked for the May 22 sailing on the Eclipse. We booked late and were surprised that it was available. When the May 22 sailing was cancelled, we were able to get one on the June 5 sailing. I am curious why for both cruises one was available. I could not find any bad reviews. Odd, but we will take it. Both were on the back of the hump and we are hoping it won't be too windy.

There is a fee per item. Occasionally there is a 'fill the bag' special. If you were Elite or above in Captain's Club you would get one or 2 free bags of laundry per cruise.

Just wanted to know if there were any recent covid cases on the Eclipse lately 2022.
It is on it's first Alaska run now. There are a couple of threads about the first 2 Eclipse cruises, Vancouver to Hawaii and back. There have been cases on both those cruises. The CDC has had the ship as orange status for a while.

The Scenic website is not showing your sailing for sale--there are no Amsterdam to Zurich sailings at all on its schedule for 2022
There is at least one such sailing, Sept 21 on the Jewel. We are booked on it along with the Grand Alpine land tour following the cruise.

Never had that happen before on a cruise and I'd never part with my passport under any circumstances.
Not sure where you have cruised, but we have had to do this many times. I don't recall we had a choice.

Exactly where did you see this "all included"?
It's just too funny. I only had to look at the side ad in Cruise Critic next to your comment. Interesting, if you go to the Celebrity web page the first thing showing is ' new - cruise only rates' but if you scroll down you see this same ad.
-
This has been discussed a lot recently. You need to get your TA, or Celebrity if you booked directly, to send you a copy of your Celebrity invoice, generally a pdf file. Everything included will be listed on it.
Otherwise, if you sign into your Celebrity account and look for 'order history' for your cruise you should see your drinks package and wifi listed there (it may take a bit for it to appear after booking, as per my experience). Your Celebrity OBC will be shown at the top of the page. I have not seen that included gratuities show in your account.

On board now- Eclipse Celebrity Suite observations and tips
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
We were in Celebrity Suite 1618 on the June 5 sailing. For what it's worth, there are additional outlets under the little corner desk. I used that one with the hair dryer as we plugged our electronics in the one over that desk. The only way we could consistently get strong enough wifi was to stand at the door of our suite.
