we figure out our day/night 'plans' first … dining comes in 'whenever' , so anytime is perfect for us

it's "just" 1 drink per hour … and unless you're drinking beer … the wine and drinks 'pours' are nowhere near like they are at 'home'
well, at least until you get to know your bartenders in Vines and Crooners ...🍷🍸🥃

I wonder if BSE is a test of a lower priced PBP. Maybe they could adjust the drinks per day number. At the right combination of # Drinks per day and Package price, they might get more people to opt for a newer package even though it is higher cost than their usual by-the-drink cost. It would be convenient and some days you win, some days you lose.
I've never "lost" a day with the PBP... even port days...😎

Princess "could" make the PBP with the same terms and conditions as the coffee package … 'owner' of the package gets the coffees, waters, juices … and the "15" alcoholic drinks per day could be shared
never happen ...
never say never

on our last cruise , we waited about an hour to board when a couple was doing a b2b and didn't think the rules applied to them
and this was with the almighty medallion … and posters here seem to be worried that they are being tracked ...
-
if anything , 'formal night(s) hashave gotten more casual over the last 3 years , from what I have observed ...
dress pants, a long sleeve shirt ( no tie ) for me … no jacket required - and dress echo sandals - at least in the caribbean
other regions may vary

I have been on 11 Princess ships thus far and have never seen bowling offered. I have also sailed on CCL, HAL and RCI and have never seen bowling lanes.
it's for crew only and located next to one of the crew only bars … at least that's what I heard a couple of the crew talking about meeting there at 2 am after their shifts …

They don't track them either if you're used to cruise lines doing that.

Pretty sure I got the BDE on the BSE ( Best Deal Ever on the Best. Sale. Ever.)
we booked a "Getaway" promotion where the 2nd person is/was 50% off the fare of the first … when we added BEST2DG ( drinks and grats ) for $ 30 per day for me , 5 days at $ 30 per day - $ 150 … this was added to our cruise fare … and as such , when the BEST2DG was also added to my wife's fare , "her" cost was $ 15 per day ( remember that 50% off )
talk about a winner, winner, chicken dinner !! 🤑

on our next cruise, and yes we have 'status' … our personalizer is currently showing a one device day of $ 8.99 per day and a 4 device package of $ 14.99 per day

wow, would have been hard to turn down that 'free cruise' and 100% refundable fare OBC

I think the 50% off relates to the on board price of $19.99 per day cost if individual days are purchased once onboard without any discount or package purchased pre-cruise or on the first day

like Colo above, we try to get to the port between 10 and 10:30 … if we have to wait somewhere, we'd rather be waiting with our carryon(s) in the terminal, than waiting for the traffic to clear …
we've even 'tailgated' in the parking garage when we got there at 9 am one time … but didn't fire up the grill 😎

I got one on the SKY 12/4 … not sure why, but I did have the PBP … asked Dennis, our steward, and he stated he had an extra and thought we might like it …

I disagree. I think BSE targets those who don't like to be nickel and dimed on the ship.
I don't drink soda or alcohol but added it to one of my bookings. I think it still includes fresh squeezed OJ, bottled water, I drink Mocktails and also hot chocolate. In the scope of pricing, it wasn't that much to include the beverage part.
On the other hand, the new beverage packages how they are defined don't work for me. the BSE was cheaper to add. Go figure.
well stated … but a lot of posters seem to forget that the PBP includes the items you mentioned in addition to the alcoholic beverages when evaluation the benefits
I drink a lot of liquids - both at home and on the ship

Promotions are cruiser specific
This sale targets 'families' sailing with 3 or 4
BSE targets drinkers

You need to be writing a letter ( yes, a handwritten letter ) every week, and mail it ( yes, with a stamp ) to Princess headquarters requesting funding for the library to be continued and expanded
I believe somewhere I read that Brooks Hatlen would be pushing the cart
