Why?  Get to select your picture, number of Pieces 100-5000, start and stop as you like, take it with you.  Why is it 'wrong'?

just another example of how "old"/"old skool" I am, I guess ... not a fan of electronic bingo, poker, slots,

but, hey, at least I do ( sometimes ) use my device to catch some scores ...

This ^ is exactly what I brought (same color even!)  Many guests commented on what a good idea it was.  Through the cruise a number of fellow guests referred to me as "the chair lady."  I was able to sit right at the railing and when I left to use the bathroom or get a drink, my chair was still mine when I returned.

but, was it still in the same place ? curious , as a prime railing position "reserved" when you are not seated in it ?

how does that work ?  when loungers ( even more space taken ) are against the railing ...

Well, I'm 5'5" and my husband is 6'7", so it's sort of obvious.  But like I said, no one has ever said anything.  If they charged me for his clothes, I'd be fine with that, but they haven't.

maybe put them in separate bags next time ...

disclaimer ... neither of us are at the free laundry level .. yet

I never buy the drink package. It would be a waste of money for me. House wine is just fine by me! Disappointing that they don't have a happy hour..but whatever I'll make it work! Cabernet is my drink of choice.

bring your 1 bottle per adult in the cabin, bottle of wine to be consumed in your cabin, without corkage ...

They get the priority guest service line and priority tender. And of court the Lounge.

Not sure there was anything else. Everyone in the cabin get the laundry... but no sticker needed for that.

so, you and your non-elite parents stayed in the same cabin ?

I bought a small clip from Amazon to use with my medallion, and the only problem I incurred was when I was returning to the ship. Local security could not see my name on the medallion to match it with my ID, so there was a delay as we popped it out. I eventually gave up using the clip, and just kept the medallion in my pocket.

we got the same ones, and yes , had to take it out a couple of times, and yes ended up in pocket... but still in clip

What is a move over offer?  Thanks.

    Marlster

It's a beautiful thing IF it fits your schedule(s) and desires...

basically, the ship is oversold , and Princess is offering you an opportunity to give up your cabin on that cruise ...

and in exchange, Princess will give you a 'free' cruise and also return to you in the form of REFUNDABLE on board credit the cruise fare you paid for your original cruise

that's the crux ... but if you ever get an email move over offer, respond IMMEDIATELY to the number you are instructed to call and get in line for a call back from Princess on a first responded basi

  9. Do Princess ships still have the Korbel ( or other brand ) splits (187 ml bottles ) that you can get

at the bars and take back to your cabin / balcony to enjoy  and are these still covered by the PBP ? What about by the glass - what brands

are available and covered by the PBP limit of $ 12 ?

and finally , can / will somebody post the Bellini's menu to also see which ones are covered

We are departing on a Sunday cruise from Port Everglades after flying in the night before. For our previous cruises, we grabbed a few bottles of wine at the local grocery store before boarding. However, this time our ship departs on a Sunday. Can anyone confirm wine sales are available in the Hollywood/FLL area on Sunday morning? I know they are at noon, but I think that's when the liquor stores open. I just need wine which I know can be purchased at a grocery, along with a 6-pack or two of soft drinks. Due to logistics, we cannot wait until noon to get our wine; it's gotta be earlier. 😎

I already called the grocery we use down there, but I don't know if the person to whom I spoke really understood the question. I did find a link that indicates wine is sold in groceries starting at 0900 even on Sunday, but I'd sure like confirmation from someone who has actually done that! That link it not an official Florida link, so it's authenticity is somewhat in question.

check it out ... blocks from the cruise port ...

Again, I'm sorry you don't care for the new venue and my post to you was not meant with any malice.

People always have a differing opinion on things! That's why it was only my personal opinion.

Make sure you let them know on the surveys that this took away some of your nightly enjoyment of the ship.  As a bar space, I'm sure they will unfortunately tell you that it's not necessary meant to be a quiet space but perhaps they can turn down the volume if you let the front desk know.

It was very busy during those time when we sailed in May as well as when our friends just sailed. Each sailing will of course be different depending on the demographics and itinerary from what I'm sure.  From what I was told, they needed to up the revenue in that space because it was mainly used as an overspill for the International Cafe and coffee bar and not the actual bar.  By having cocktails speciality cocktails that you could only get at that one bar and only during those times, it was bringing people in and bar revenue was up. If you look at the majority of cruisers sitting at the tables in the area, they do not have cocktails at their tables and that's what brings in the most revenue.

After 24 Princess cruises, this was actually the first time that I utilized that bar by actually sitting and enjoying it and did so more than once.

Again, I really hope you are enjoying your sailing.  I really enjoyed the Caribbean Princess and look forward to being on her again soon.

I'm not sure I really even noticed it on the 4 day CB cruise in May ... we would go to Vines pre-dinner, dinner, then head to Crooners ...

did you book the SKY 3 day in December ... that's our next and looking forward to the new Ship and jazz lounge
