I sent an email inquiry to Princess in February....yes, it's now March (after several resent attempts). I apologize for the PDF format, but there was no other way to transcribe the voice message that Robert left. This was my phones AI attempt at "translating" voice to text. I wanted documentation to take on my next cruise. Feel free to print and take with you also. Very interesting that "Robert" called me instead of replied by email. I didn't pick up the unknown number (not Princess) so it went to voicemail.
Bottom line:
There is no concierge's lounge on Grand/GEM class ships (I knew that).
Suite passengers do have access to a concierge through guest services (I knew that too).
If you have PLUS or Premier, you will not be charged the $5 Room Service Delivery Charge for ordering off the MDR menu.
full mdr menu benefit - 'sweet benefit' or 'suite' benefit?

Haiti is a separate country from the DR. The Dominican ports Princess serves are hundreds of miles away from Haiti. They're too far away to be much affected by what happens there.
RCL is going to stop going to Labadee - private island

It’s entertainment. We get that this stuff happens. We just like to comment now and then. Sometimes I choose not to play based on how people are playing, how I feel and is there something else I would rather do.
excellent answer - just what I was looking for - Entertainment

If everyone plays it right, and I lose, of course I am not happy but I don't mind as much. When it get more irritating is that everyone does not play right, then I lose as a result of that.
then why even play on a cruise ship when the odds are going to be casual players along side you? For that matter, why does anyone serious about something, food, wine, whisky expect the cruise experience to be the same as a hand picked land experience?

at PE/FLL - they are pretty strict that you must have a free hand to hold on to the escalators.
we use the elevators for balance issues, anyway...

I'll look into the costs for Park19. To add here for all, Princess has communicated expected opening dates for various venues. They are:
-
Dome shows will begin on March 19, 2024
-
Arena shows will begin rolling out on March 29
-
Park19 is open, minus the ropes course, which will be completed March 29, and RollGlider, which will be done on April 27.
-
Spellbound is being tested on this voyage; it should be operational by March 19, 2024.
did Princess "communicate" the "WHY" for the delayed openings?

I've never signed out (but I have been signed out 🤔).

You are correct. The content of our sign or of our neighbors' is irrelevant to this thread. What is relevant is that a new hire elected to enforce indiscriminately and without documentary support a previously undisclosed Princess policy which bans all signs except those approved in advance by the company. Our room attendant, a safety auditor, room supervisor and even the Front Desk personnel had no issue with door decorations.
perhaps you should request that this thread now be closed to prevent further
edit: and we do enjoy decorating our door 🤔

Oh, I thought it was included in the Premier?
someone posted a drink menu and blue was listed at around $30 for a shot - Premier covers up to $20 - so a surcharge of $10 + 18% ($1.80) = $11.80

they will pay an overage plus 18% for the gold and blue when they can find it.

Looked up on Princess website for 10 day cruise on Caribbean Princess Oct. 28, 2025.
Intrigued by $99 deposit in red letters on their website
Called our TA and told him to book a suite
He fought with Princess for 2 hours when they applied deposit of $2,160.00
Apparently the $99 displayed on their Ad did not apply to suites??!!
Not impressed

Other places they request you not put them is on stairways so people don't trip on them, but that's somewhat obvious.
prolly wasn't to the person that tripped on the stairs

Off topic, but Kellogg’s cereals were developed as an anaphrodisiac! John Harvey Kellogg was a crazy Adventist obsessed with controlling people’s sex drives through food, so steer away from those corn flakes during the cruise 😂'deleted' - off topic response to an off topic post

It isn't expensive and it does save having to order or remember to bring it back.
We have done both previously. Next time we are not ordering but we may regret that decision if we keep forgetting to bring some back each day.
thanks for the drinks ... when you have time, can I have 2 beers and 2 Pelligrinos to take back to the cabin? Thanks
as we leave the final bar and head to the cabin ... Every.Single.Night.
and prolly have 3-4 beers and 3-4 waters already in the fridge from the day drinking
