  1. Bartenders, etc in VINES? Current Production shows? we cruise on CB in November, and well aware that who/what's going on now can very easily change
  2. Ain't Cruise Critic great for Princess !! Free beta testing for any and all new rollouts ... Hope they are paying attention
  3. I'm curious - what would be your solution?
  4. my 'rum girl wife' likes the Dunes martini in Crooners - I'm a simple man - give me a cold beer, a decent Cab, and a single malt scotch and I'm all good ... and lots of Pelligrino's and Perrier's (whichever is available) ... and throw in a few Jamesons in my coffee
  5. Both PLUS and Premier are 'cruise fare' additions - so OBC can't apply ... unless of course... Princess now, if you still have any FCC left over from prior cruise(s) - that's different
  6. so this crew member you spoke to ... what was the reason Princess 'can't' fill crew staff? Are past crew now not willing? No new crew applying? Visa's? Covid? Training?
  7. Yep, you did your homework ( while on the phone ) and it paid off as the rep could just look at it. Well played We kinda, sorta, did the balcony upgrade onboard from a deluxe balcony (covered by Nurse promotion) to a Premium deluxe balcony (not offered) once we got onboard - had the cabin number ready - yes sir, no charge ... well, what about an upgrade to a suite? ... don't push it ...🤑
  8. Sparkling water is included Perrier and Pelligrino in small bottles
  9. are you booking ... directly with Princess? thru a Princess CVP (cruise vacation planner)? or a 3rd party TA/big box/etc.?
  10. well, I wish Princess would sail from Port Canaveral ... maybe port one of the new LNG Sphere class ships there? The Princess Cruises Sphere Class Vessel Will be the First in the Fleet Powered by LNG The Sphere Class vessel will be the first in the Princess fleet to run on LNG, the marine industry's most environmentally friendly advanced fuel technology and the world's cleanest fossil fuel which is energy-saving and reduces emissions.
  11. must have "one free hand" to use the escalators... is that still a thing? I have some balance issues so we just wait for an elevator
  12. were you "reguired" to test that last day of the cruise?
  13. guess I'll find out in November🤑 ... got a little OBC, so if I have to pay a little extra, no problem. wouldn't be 'cost effective' to upgrade to Premier, but still considering it, since it's a short cruise and the 2 each specialty dining would soften the blow somewhat ... and the PRIZES !
  14. I'm in the "I have the Plus package ... I'll have a Cab ... you can select for me, thanks" ... in Vines
  15. tipping as a % of the 'bill' - that's what I don't understand and like a 20% tip on a $1,000 bottle of wine - $200 a 20% tip on a $50 bottle of wine - $10
  16. $5 for 2 bags - 25 inch - to take out of back of SUV and put on cart at embarkation $20 for the same 2 bags to help us go thru customs and take to our SUV at the port - terminal 2 PE
  17. Final payment is due mid-September - about 35 days out now
  18. we booked under PLUS almost a year ago now current pricing (not our price) - 5 day Base - 631 PLUS - 881 Premier - 1066
  19. discovered Kerrygold butter from those threads - used it ever since
  20. I sent my CVP an email about the cost to 'upgrade' from PLUS to Premier ( the answer was $270 for a 5 day cruise, so $27 pp per day...didn't take it, yet) she replied in 30 minutes. Now it's usually the next business day - an east/west coast thingy
  21. did you send in the 'requested Princess "form"? or just like "in the past"?
  22. "A' Silverado Cab ( now $17 ) 'used' to be covered by PLUS in Vines ... 5 day cruise - upgrade to Premier is $20? $25? $30? per person per day ? 2 specialty dinners each included ... a few pics maybe? and the all important door opening prize package opportunity... $200 non-refundable OBC from prior promotion ain't life great to be able to even being in the position to make this decision...
