  1. I bet that it will all work out! Make sure to call NCL ahead of time to tell them about your lactose intolerance. They will be very helpful on the cruise, There will be plenty for your boyfriend to eat. On the Gem we were in a studio so we were able to eat breakfast and lunch in Cagney. They went out of their way to help me with a food sensitivity. I will be on the Escape in June, my first time in the Haven!

    Have a blast!

  2. I love the Gems forward Penthouse Suites on Deck 10. I have sailed in 3 of them. Some have huge balconies, some have ones a bit smaller but bigger cabin which I loved. Last time we didn’t have free cd s, but we had free movies. Not sure what they have now 2 years later. Cagney is a dream, definitely quieter with big pillows for your back. They have a nice tea selection and French Press.

    Enjoy

  3. I totally enjoyed your review. I also have a tour booked with Heidi in June. I think that it will definitely be a highlight after seeing your stunning photos.

I was so surprised when I saw your sons Coxsackie-Athens shirt. When my husband was alive we belonged to the Coxsackie Yacht Club. His shirt triggered some fond memories.

Thank you again for the wonderful review and for taking us along with your family.

  4. Not sure about the Breakaway, but on the Spirit, Dawn and most recently on the Gem we have had the most amazing Oatmeal Raisin cookies. They are hard to find but we're usually available in the buffet areas around 9pm. Once while in a suite we ordered some with tea. Our wonderful butler Jayson brought us a boatload ( pun intended). They didn't go to waste!
