  1. Cruise critic is great for learning about the do's and don't of cruising. What I like most is talking to people that was just on the same ship as the one your going on. If your lucky they just may have stayed in the same stateroom as the one your staying in and have pics to show. And.................shoot here comes my boss:eek:...LoL

  2. And then some will want to take them into foreign ports where it is often illegal to use US designed walkie talkies. Fines and/or jail can result if caught using them.

I was unaware that it was illegal in some foreign ports. Nor would I have ever thought of it??? I will say now that "Maybe a 2 way radio is not the best way to communicate"

  3. I believe the easiest way to communicate would be to buy a set of two way radios. For two of them a good set (length of range) you can get for around $70-90. This may seem high however if you travel a lot and adventure off without each other a lot they could come in handy, and it also is only a "one time buy".

  4. The increase won't stop us but it may for others. You hear so many people say "why should I pay extra when I can get food for free other places" I'm sure they have never experienced those melt in your mouth steaks, otherwise they would be booking.

My wife and I said the exact same thing "why should I pay extra when I can get food for free other places." With that said, on our cruise with RCCL I wanted to try the steak house (forgot the name) and since I wear the pants in the house we do what I say (she not going to read this so I could say that...haha.:D) Moving on, we had an awesome experience the steak was probably one of if not the best steak I had ever eaten, my wife afterwards even said for the $25 it was definitely worth it so now we book the steak house no matter what cruise line we are on. Also I will note that at least one of the nights on a 7 day cruise in the main dinning room there always seems to be a crappy menu selection no matter what cruise line you are on. So the first thing we do is look at the menus for the week (usually posted on the T.V. in your stateroom along with other great info) then find the menu that does not sound good for us and immediately book for the steak house on that night, and I say immediately as they seem to fill up very fast.

  5. My wife and I our going on our first Princess cruise. Now this is not our first cruise it will be our 5th. We love the night life, broadway shows, karaoke, and food. So can somebody share some of the hot spots on Ruby Princess for what we are interested in? Also we are in Cabin L234 if anybody has stayed in this state room please share. Thank you so much in advance.:D
