I hope not. I really want to do this itinerary again but refuse to do it on a Fantasy class ship. I want more dinner food variety over a 7 night trip than that class of ship offers.
Have to agree we did this twice on the Victory and once on the Valor. I think San Juan will go shipless for a few months from Carnival

You can still carry on your Coke, I have had to carry on my diet Pepsi for years and years, no it's time for the other side to see what it's like to have to carry on your favorite drink.

Booked The Loews for 2 days before our cruise in Feb. Yes it's during Mardi Gras but still think I got a good rate.

I’m not sure what I’d do. The compensation package is more than generous but I don’t think I could handle five sea days with only two ports on an eight day cruise. However, with the sailing date being so close, I’d probably just go with the new itinerary. What a bummer for those who have had the affected cruises planned for a long time (perhaps a year or longer). I would probably be nervous on a ship that is having cruising speed issues, especially a newer ship.
Would not be able to do a modified itinerary. Work, pets, travel. Carnival is only covering the minimum 200 airline change fee, not the extra cost due to the last minute fare. I am not a fan of 5 sea days. Hence a reason we have done the cruise out of San Juan three times that has only 1 sea day. Would have to take the refund and 50% off and beg American Airlines for a reuse of the tickets.

I have no problem giving my TA the gift card numbers and letting her apply payments. Like the previous poster stated, I email to her.

The e-mail is your confirmation. It will not appear in your Cruise Manager.
Enjoy!
You should have a card in your room confirming. If not you will get a call or voicemail left on the room phone.

Don’t agree, I have been on ships with less than 300 Diamond and Platinum cruisers. It really depends on the ship and time of year.
21 minutes ago, PhillyFan33579 said:I definitely don’t agree that gold members need more benefits. If anything they should look at cutting benefits for platinums. I am a platinum, but Carnival has too many platinums, so I could live with any possible negative changes. It doesn’t make too much sense when so many cruises have a significant number of platinums, not to mention diamonds. When you have ships with 50% or higher having priority status, you really don’t have much priority wise.

Thre needs to be a level between Platinum and Diamond. 75-199 is a huge jump. Currently at 115 days with 19 more days booked. Will take awhile to hit that Diamond Status.

My daughter has one of the blow up T Rex costume and wants to bring it along. She's fun and goofy and thinks it would be fun. Do you think this would be an issue? She wants to wear it for a few, picture by the pool, having an under 21 friendly drink, stand on our balcony and wave. I don't want to pack it if she can't wear it.
Thanks 🙂
Go for it nothing wrong with having a good time

I will wear a suit and dress up for the 1st night and usually book the Steakhouse on those ship that have it. The 2nd elegant night is eat on lido and not fool with the madness of dressing up.

Did not like the staff on the 3 times we tried Royal. Getting ready for #19 on Carnival. So I will stick to them.

Always day before and even then you can still have issues but have tone to fix them. Our flight that should have been 40 minutes down to Charlotte took 5 1/2 hours due to a diversion to refuel from circling Charlotte trying to land in fog. We missed the first flight to San Juan, made a later flight. Our luggage showed up to the hotel the next morning as we were checking out to go to the ship. We were going with or without the luggage.

Little disappointed as we always book during the actual Halloween date, kind of takes away a little to celebrate all month. Crew will be over Halloween by the time it actually arrives.

The area around Linden and Broadway has a low crime rate, if that is what you are interested in.
Thank you, got an excellent deal.

What’s up with that? She just left Long Beach and I see she’s coming back in fall of 2019.
Am I late on news or something ?
Edit: I just saw what’s going on. Seems Splendor doing a Repo cruise to Asia in October 2019 and that’s when the Miracle will take over Splendor itineraries until Panorama comes in December 2019?
As Carnival Cruise Line continues to expand its itinerary offerings, the company today announced that it will offer three special longer length Carnival Journeys cruises in 2019.
The voyages include a unique 24-day trans-Pacific crossing aboard Carnival Splendor from Long Beach to Singapore, as well as two voyages aboard Carnival Miracle – a 13-day Panama Canal transit from Tampa to Long Beach and a 14-day Hawaii cruise round-trip from Long Beach.
The 24-day voyage is the longest single departure in Carnival Cruise Line’s history and marks the first time that the line will visit Guam, Vietnam and Malaysia on a North American departure.
In addition to visiting some of the world’s most beautiful destinations, guests sailing on Carnival Journeys cruises enjoy unique on-board activities during which they can sample local cuisine and enjoy entertainment and cultural opportunities within the various ports of call. Activities focusing on topics such as photography, cooking, arts and crafts and celestial navigation, along with a 1980s-themed “Throwback Sea Day,” are also offered.
“We’re delighted to expand upon our itinerary choices with these three exciting Carnival Journeys, including an unforgettable 24-day voyage trans-Pacific transit featuring our first-ever calls to spectacular ports in the Far East,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.
24-Day Transpacific Crossing on Carnival Splendor
The 3,012-passenger Carnival Splendor will operate an unprecedented 24-day trans-Pacific crossing that will depart Long Beach, Calif., on Oct. 5 and arrive in Singapore Oct. 30, 2019.
The voyage will feature extended port calls at Maui and Honolulu, Hawaii, before crossing the International Date Line, then visit Guam, and Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – the first time the line has visited these destinations on a ship departing from North America. On this fantastic seagoing adventure guests can visit ancient temples and other centuries-old landmarks and attractions and immerse themselves in Far East culture.
The 24-day voyage will also offer a traditional ceremony held when mariners cross the International Date Line which essentially adds an extra day to the cruise.
13-day Panama Canal, 14-Day Hawaii Carnival Journeys Cruises
Carnival Miracle will operate a 13-day Carnival Journeys Panama Canal transit that will depart Tampa Sept. 29 and arrive in Long Beach Oct. 12, 2019, positioning the vessel for a series of seven- and 14-day cruises from that port.
The 13-day cruise will include an overnight stay in Cartagena, Colombia; prior to the Panama Canal transit followed by calls at Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, all home to magnificent architecture and unforgettable shopping, dining and cultural experiences.
Carnival Miracle will operate a 14-day Carnival Journeys cruise to Hawaii round-trip from Long Beach Oct. 19 to Nov. 2, 2019, featuring stops at four breathtaking destinations within the Aloha State – Maui, Honolulu, Kona and Hilo – along with a call at Ensenada, Mexico. On this cruise, guests can enjoy world-class beaches, savor local cuisine, explore the lush Hawaiian countryside and get an “up close and personal look” at colorful Polynesian culture.
The ship will also offer a series of seven-day Mexican Riviera cruises from Long Beach beginning Oct. 12, 2019. The week-long voyages visit Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas, all home to gorgeous white-sand beaches, excellent snorkeling and a variety of water sports.
The Miracle will then move back to the East Coast after her run in San Diego, she will be moved to Miami.

Hi all! I am getting to know the Vista. The Havana balconies look amazing but they don't seem very private. Which would you choose and which would you stay away from? Thanks so much! :)
We loved 7454. Next year had to settle for deck six aft. Booked Halloween again.

I would like to see them bring back the Limon And Panama Canal from South Florida, even if it only ran a couple times a year I would make it fit my schedule.
