Loved the Havana Area. We had an extended aft balcony on Deck 7. Area was never crowded money well spent to be be able to use a pool and hot tubs and not have to fight kids for it. Never heard any noise. Next year we could only get the aft on deck 6 so we were advised at booking that there could be noise from the bar/band area below.

I agree they have always been helpful. Even the times I've had to elevate something up to the executive level at Carnival.

Last time we walked on at noon when boarding started, dropped the bags in the room, had lunch. Got back off and explored more, boarded again around 8 pm.

There needs to be a level between Platinum and Diamond. Currently at 101 nights with 29 more nights booked. But it’s a large gap from 75-199.

We never felt crowded out there at all. Never paid attention to anyone looking down from above. We were on deck 7 Aft, next year I’d deck 6 Aft.

The only one thing I did not like on the Vista was Liquid Lounge, and I did miss the full atrium experience with glass elevators. Loved having an Aft Havana Extended Balcony. We did book Vista for a second time in the same room location for 2019. Just wish I didn’t have to get in line 30-45 minutes prior to get an good seat for the shows.

We had a balcony on the Breeze that could have held four but there was only two of us, no we didn’t have to give it up or move or pay for 4 people.

Did Carnival out of San Juan 2 times on the Victory and 1 time on the Valor, would love to do it again but not on a Fantasy class ship.

We did Royal round trip from Seattle in June 2012. Cold. Missed Tracy Arm due to way too much ice in the water, go figure. Not a fan of Royal.

2015 we went back and did an 8 night Vancouver to Seattle in May on the Carnival Legend, perfect warm weather in Juneau and Skagway. 50's in Tracy Arm and Glacier Bay. Loved this cruise.

2019 we are doing an 8 night round trip from Seattle and getting Icy Straight Point and Glacier Bay.

I have stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites near the Space Needle. They offered a shuttle for 8 per person to the ship in 2015.

I check the rates, but I use a TA that books a lot of group cruises, so many times I get extra OBC as part of the group perks in addition to any OBC that Carnival may be offering. Group pricing is generally cheaper than the published fares and deposit is fully refundable up to the final payment due date.

Been to Endicott Arm when Tracy Arm was iced in and also made it into Tracy Arm. Both are magnificent but Tracy Arm on the smaller vessel was worth the cost and the highlight of the trip.

Never had issues with Super Shuttle. But for our Splendor cruise we are going to fly in and out of Long Beach LGB instead of LAX
