Sailing in August on Costa Favulosa and just trying to get an idea of what is served in MDR on-board? Does anyone have pictures of the menu's? Are there dishes which are 'always available' every night throughout the cruise (I know other cruise lines do this)? Many thanks!

Yes thats the one we have found and considering- think they may do a shuttle but they charge quite a bit. Did you enjoy the hotel? In terms of transfers etc I think we can find cheaper ourselves too..... hence asking for suggestions. Cabs at airport will be quite pricy for us I think due to distance and there being more than 4 of us...will see if can find mini van or similar as flight arrives quite late evening- heard train would otherwise be good.

Thank you- yes unfortunately budgets and annual leave allowance would not permit any longer but we have been fortunate enough to have visited Venice previously. I do agree, if anyone's not previously visited the city then totally recommend taking opportunity if going anyway as beautiful place with so many interesting things to see/do!

Hi CC! Just wondering whether anyone had suggestions/recommendations for transfers that they have used from Venice Marco Polo airport to a hotel near the Trieste port? Would be 5 adults and toddler with our own carseat and 6 cases.....?

Hi fellow CC, I am currently planning to book an upcoming trip and am looking at the Jewel class ships (Jade, Gem etc) as love their layout and size etc. There are a group of us so currently looking at sharing cabins etc to minimise costs. Having been on the Jewel class ships prior to their most recent refurbishment and prior to Covid-19 I've notice some changes in looking at reviews etc. I have been considering the three-bedroom Garden Villa for us all but photos from prior to post refub and Covid have changed in terms of furniture in the outdoors area- there previously was a canopy sunshade covering over outdoor seating but post-refurb photos do not show any sunshades being provided, even on the deck chair areas around sun loungers. If this is the case I am quite surprised given that most sailings are to climates which are sunny! We will have a toddler with us so having shaded areas on cabin balcony areas and on deck is understandably important, but just wondering if any one who has been on recently post refurb and post covid-19 can advise? Also-- do the small fridges have freezer areas at all? It seems so long ago I was on board I cant remember! Many thanks everyone!

Can you clarify about the limited options in Garden Cafe? This usually at lunch etc has a good range--what is currently being offered? Many thanks!

Is anyone on board currently/recently who can comment on the food availability, particularly the buffet at lunch? I read on another thread that the buffet at lunch/dinner/breakfast was very much limited in terms of options open and variety- so for example the salad bar now only offers pre-prepared salads and no option to select individual items (eg separate salad leaves, cucumber, olives etc) and then where there had been 'stations' previously such as pasta/Indian etc. they were very much scaled back to previously?
