Same here for us . We have Premier and after making the 2 reservations included checked our CC and were charged for both . Cancelled and tried again and same result . Called Princess and the operator was no help . Told me to either cancel and try my luck with times still available or keep the reservation and go to guest services and receive an onboard credit . When I said I dont want an onboard credit she replied that was all she could suggest . On another similar thread some suggestions offered didnt work either. We are paid in full .Seems Princess Premier is a headache as I assume Ill be standing in line with many others at guest relations rather than enjoying embarkation .

Dear Princess Cruise Line , Many Princess Cruisers are sharing the same problem I am having regarding trying to make Specialty Dining reservations with our Premier Package Dining credit . There are several threads both on CC and the Facebook pages . We are asking you to try and rectify this problem of charging us full price to our CC's instead of recognising we have dining credit for two Specialty dinners . Below is an example of just one thread . I have tried several times including contacting Princess without any result or suggested remedy except Guest relations onboard , which I expect will have many many angry embarkers as unhappy as I am . Agree . I spent time with an operator regarding my CC being charged for comlimentary Premier dining reservations and she was hopeless. Had no idea how to fix this and said go the Guest Relations on embarkation ... and maybe stand in line for ages hoping to get this fixed . She asked if there was anything else she could help me with ....... unlikely to say the least as her English was as poor as her abilty to offer assistance.

I think I read somewhere here that you have to use one ot the 4 "vouchers" to get the 40% off ? Hope not .

We are Platinum with Princess , All This would never be the case with our Elite status with Celebrity , so seems just a silly way to arrange something so simple .

Thanks Arxcards , Couldnt see the access to the dining voucher and checked again . The app says I have " Dining credit " so cancelled the first bookings and tried again . Made the reservations and they still charged the CC . Go figure . Ill call Princess today and let you know how I got on . Thanks for the advice .

We have the Premium Package for a short October cruise - is the wine by glass offerings previously noted here the current list or has this been updated ? Apparently there is a Champagne available by the glass or is that the Aussie Bubbly version ? (Like the Shaw Smith M3 Chardonnay) Thanks for any info .

This is a help suggestion please for a tiny 2 night cruise out of our home town Melbourne - we rarely get to sail from home so are doing this taster cruise just cause - and being Elite with Celebrity , Platinum with Princess etc etc , just want to see what the Virgin Voyage is all about . We have looked at many YouTube 's on dining and are needing advice . For such a short sail - please recommend where and what we should try and get to . I know its ridiculously just a sample but we would like to try as much as possible and yes we are happy to jump around and try as much as possible . Any advice would be most appreciated .

Thinking of a short Virgin Cruise and wondering about the $300 bar tab they are offering presently here for a less than 6 night cruise .. I cant find out if this is in ship currency - US $ or is it $300 AU , which of course means pretty much nothing with the drinks onboard in $US dollar prices and therefore almost double the price for us poor Aussies ? Any idea ? Ive tried contacting Virgin without success.

Yes we were thinking to buy the Plus Fare with those benefits but I also see you can purchase the add on after you buy a fare and even when on board ? So it seems the Plus or Premium will be honored on a 2 night sail then . The premium also adds 2 Specialty Restaurant reservations - with the other addons it seems better than the plus , although the deserts look ordinary and Ive never been enticed to participate in a fitness class lol .

Thanks for the reply Jennybenny - agree to that , just not sure if Princess have changed their policy here in Australia - previously they have never offered the beverage package deal on a cruise less than 7 nights in Australia , and whilst we were able to take that offer on a 6 nighter recently via the Princess Plus , I was thinking a 2 nighter was unlikely even though the agents were seemingly offering it . Thanks again Sadly Out of love with RCCL over what should be a minor issue re accessing the Next Cruise Credit we purchased on the cruise following your debarkation - and given we are trying to book another cruisenow have had some tension trying to use it and some very surly unproffessional converstaion getting assistance from RCCL . Disappointing . Back to Celebrity , Princess , NCL , anyone really , we just love to Cruise , but not if we feel a little scammed.
