Sandy,  nothing mentioned on the video per say.  The guy being held down was biting the guy holding him down.  Holder wanted security to bring handcuffs for the other guy.    Lots of cussing and yelling.

Ray mentioned to me that he would be back on the Navigator at the end of August but did not give me an exact date.  This is all I can give you.

Another one of the Old Regent ships was the Seven Seas Song of Flower.  My first cruise on her was an Alaskan cruise in June 1992.  This ship was also alcohol all inclusive.  She was the smallest RSSC ship with only 180 passengers and 10 balcony suites.  We didn't care because we loved her small, intimate size and magnificent staff and crew.  She could get into small ports and rarely used the tender, called the Tiny Flower.  

Song of Flower was sold in October 2003 and we were on her last voyage.  She now belongs to an Icelandic cruise line.  Hope to see her when we visit Iceland on Voyager this summer.

The wine lists are pretty much the same on all ships, subject to availability.

@FloatSomeMore I can’t remember if he mentioned Silversea.  I only remember he said he had been on Crystal for many years.

Yes, Nancy, Luigi did say he spent many years on Crystal.  I first met him on the Radisson Diamond in the early 2000s.

@nancygp Luigi seemed happy to be back at Regent after all these years.

As far as I know, David Nevin is the current CD.  Not sure exactly when your cruise begins but Restaurant Manager Luigi boards Voyager sometime in July.  He left Navigator yesterday for vacation.

Very similar list that is served across the fleet.  I am currently on Navigator and most of the same pours with the exception of the Chartreuse list.

 I don’t understand why anyone would invest on a ship and cruise line that has never sailed. Sorry for those who invested in this venture.

I am currently on Navigator, @whoopie, yes, it’s cold in the public areas.  Sandals should be fine in the evening but sweaters and wraps are needed.

@Parapara the temperature can be controlled in the suites.

@indoorsy You shouldn’t have a problem with getting a pool chair.  It’s the chairs in the shade that are most coveted.

Sometimes, like today, if you have a late flight home, it will include a tour of the city, on the way to the airport.  You won’t hear anything about the tour until you get the Disembarkation Form.

Usually restaurant reservations start at 6:30pm and go up on the half hour.

Today is our first seaday and the “World of Wines” event was offered.  Here are the wines presented.  We know that other wines are available for the asking.

I am pretty sure Alex is the Assistant CD and Annabel is the social hostess now.

We are a few miles away and are just as excited as you and Rolf.  Giddily (not sure if that’s a word) excited.

I’ve been trying to visit Newport for years.  One time the cruise was canceled.  Then, bad seas kept us from stopping.  Fingers crossed we make at the end of the month.  If not, I may just have to plan a land trip.
