There was a time some of us thought at least a few of the measures introduced to fight Covid would continue. As far as I can tell, none of that has happened and we are back to where we were pre Covid. The buffets are back to self service. No limits on how many people are allowed in a hot tub. Etc.

I love the Indian food on Royal. I personally rate the complementary food on RCI as the best of any mainstream line, as the Indian selections are a big part of that. That said, don’t be giving them the idea of charging for what they currently serve for free 🙂

Coming from the US, the easiest flights are usually to Rome or Barcelona. Both are simply amazing places to spend a few days before/after your cruise

Woo hoo. Have an amazing trip. There are a ton of western Med cruises that hit the main ports. Since Mediterranean cruises are so port heavy, I don’t think it matters much what line you are on. Find whatever is cheap for the days that work for you.

On another line, getting a different colored room key polled near the top of “reasons you want to reach the next status level.” Kinda surprised NCL doesn’t do this. Doesn’t cost anything and makes people happy.
