  1. Maybe to satisfy those opposed to the new menu, the waiter should hand out both the adult and kid's menu at the same time. 🤣
  2. But it was better when first introduced.😂
  3. And it's a $200 deposit. However, if you book an actual sail on board, it's $100 per person, ex suites.
  4. If u have reservations # and try entering in the section “don’t see your cruise”. That is how I linked 4 cabins/reservations for my upcoming Oasis sail.
  5. If it's in the cruise planner it would show both prices if different on board.
  6. Unless it's an error, what's funny is on day 7 the new menu shows 9 different entrees vs 7 for the other days. I guess since it's the last night (7-night sail) Royal wants it to be special. 🤣 Ps. 4 entrees on day 7 are from the classic portion of the old menu.😆
  7. Like we did not know that it was due to economics. The bigger question "Has the quality improved or is it the same old old."
  8. Went to the week that you listed, and the new menus are there. Strange that same not shown on the weeks that I selected
  9. Thanks, lesson learned. However, not sure if doing it right as I chose Jan.14 sail and I only get is the kid's menu 🤣and followed by a ton of wines. Looked at the subsequent week's sail and same kid's menu for all of the 7 nights. Will try again tomorrow hopefully with better luck.
  10. Agree. Funny, the last few times that I asked Casino desk for repricing, the agent stayed online until I received the revised invoices.
  11. Can't, because I'm not sailing on Symphony. I've got a sailing on Anthem in about 29 days and it still shows the old menus.
  12. Not thrilled and I wish the poster would have shown/uploaded the other nightly menus.
  13. Thanks, you said it for me. I guess lack of funding and adverse are on the opposite side of the spectrum.🤣
  14. Lack of IT funding is one of the main issues with Southwest Airlines cancellations.
  15. Mine was not so much interruption, but cancellation due to my wife being in the hospital. Royal reimbursed me 50% of fare less the $100 cancellation fee (NRD). Put a claim via Chase CC (Allianz was the insurer) for the trip interruption and cancellation benefit. After providing proof of the hospital stay and medical issues, I was reimbursed for the amounts that I was exposed to. It took about a little over a month, and this was during the Pandemic.
  16. I'm not saying that they have a great IT system. For instance, I booked 4 cabins while on Oasis in December and it took some 45 minutes to an hour for completion. Don't understand why their system simply populate the necessary information by entering the individual C&A #.
  17. Thanks. It is still strange as it was a family cruise.
  18. Not sure what ships you have been on, but I found none of the problems that you indicate. Since sailing opened up, I've been on Mariner, Oasis (2X), Allure and Anthem (2X). The only delay that I experience is when I order a drink in the WJ, theatre or other entertainment venues and the pool area.
  19. Maybe you can clarify something for me. While sailing Oasis in early December, stopped ty the Next Cruise Desk and wanted to book 4 cabins for a future cruise. I was told that I was only allowed 3 and needed approval from a supervisor for the 4th. Is my situation different than yours as you mention being able to book 4-6 sails at a time. I found the limit being placed as strange.
  20. Happy Hour in the DL was in the 3-3.5 hours.
  21. I remember when there was only a D event and only got some cheap wine and pretzels and or peanuts. Beer was extra. Just the cash benefits that I accrue from being D+ is real money that I save from the balcony cabin to solo supplement. I never expected to get into the CL because the invite was quite rare. Only twice (Quantum & Anthem) in some 40+ sails have I had the opportunity to see it listed on the C&A welcome letter.
  22. I think we are confusing between miles earned and the perks needed each year to retain certain a level or benefits. United for one, the miles earned/accrued no longer expire, however, in order to maintain a tier level each year, one needs to earn certain # of miles. From a Royal perspective, Casino Royale one needs X number of points each year to retain a certain level, eg. Prime = 2,500 points. At the beginning of year, it begins at 0. The tier levels are distinct from the C&A levels and accrue add'l benefits. eg. unlimited drinks in casino, discount on internet package, free cruise(s), etc. Casino Royale year starts April 1 and ends March 31 of following year.
  23. I've got a group of 8 sailing on Oasis in August and had no problem booking specialty dining. Are you sure the other cabins/reservations are linked. When you bring up your booking, do you see their reservations #, etc. Even though I asked the Royal agent on board when I booked 4 cabins to link them, they were in essence not linked. I had to manually enter their reservations # by clicking missing reservations.
