Thank you for responding, I appreciate it. I received a tri-fold brochure with the words "Princess Players Club" wording and then "Enjoy life's sweetest rewards." The brochure mentions "Up to 50% off and up to $250 spending money with the perks (drink pkg, wifi, etc). When I open the brochure it shows various places (Alaska, Mexico, Europe, etc.) and then a QR code in the upper right hand corner of the brochure. There are no specific cruises listed. Near the QR code there is a statement that says to scan the QR code to view over 900 cruises between 3 and 20 days." QR code doesn't work for my phone.

Just received a Princess Players Club rewards brochure. Where can I find a listing of the cruises that are being offered without scanning the QR code on the brochure? Also, how could I do a mock booking to see if it is really worth the effort --- I can't find a place to enter the campaign code for a mock booking. Thanks in advance for the help.

Our 2023 Alaska cruise with a balcony cabin is less than a 2024 Alaska cruise with an inside cabin.

From your port list, I would choose whale watching in Juneau. I also second the recommendation for Jayleen's Alaska.

I did offer to cancel my existing cruise and rebook under the 35% off Best Ever Sale and the rep came back with a higher price than what I am paying with my existing booking.

Crow9, thanks for the heads up, I appreciate it. Nope! Nada! Princess rep still sees the high figure and not the lower price like we have been talking about. I got out of the Princess website to refresh my screen and then came back in and the system went down and then came back with an even lower figure. At this point, I really think there is a problem with the system as Princess is not validating anything otherwise. I even offered to cancel my booking and do a new booking under the sale and it still was more. At this point, I am tired, I am done. Perhaps tomorrow will be a better day. If anyone is successful, I am happy for you --- enjoy your success.

On the phone. TA is waiting for Princess rep. Getting a funny feeling it might be that same glitch returning to haunt all of us.

I originally booked with a TA. When I saw the promotion I immediately called my TA who in turn called Princess. While on hold, my screen refreshed and the new higher price came up and that price is exactly what the Princess rep told my TA was the price. As I had previously stated, there was an apparent glitch in Princess' system and nothing could be done.

It has been quite a few years since we have sailed with Celebrity. Just booked a cabin for May 2024 to Alaska. Does Celebrity offer any incentives for booking while on board for a future Celebrity cruise? We are Elite if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance for your help.

Good to know. However, in my case, the hold would not have done me any good as it appears there was a system glitch giving me a much lower fare -- when my TA talked with a Princess agent she would only go by what SHE saw at the moment of the conversation.

Thank you for the information, I appreciate it. I see on the Marriott website that they recently renovated the hotel, did you stay there recently? We usually stay at the Marriott Pinnacle downtown but since we will be coming in later, our stay in Vancouver will be a brief one.

Pricing on my existing fare did not go down -- only went up.

Is this the Marriott -- Vancouver Airport Marriott in Richmond? We were thinking about staying there. DH is Lifetime -- Titanium Elite so we were going to use points as well.

Agree, definitely not a sale especially if the initial booking cost more after the sale pricing.

We jumped ship to Celebrity when the Princess 2024 Alaska bookings came out. Found a great itinerary for us, for a good price. Have sailed with Celebrity before and enjoyed our experience so it wasn't hard for us to switch.
