  1. Yea, love the Haven restaurant, not on the Gem but thats OK
  2. Thanks, on our very first cruise we had a suite on the Gem and both Breakfast and lunch was in Cagneys, that was also 13 years ago
  3. 14 cruises on NCL and 4 have had itinerary changes. Our 14 day had major changes done within 30 days of the cruise. Our 12 day had minor changes. Two others were due to weather (hurricanes)
  4. You could also rent two Twizzy electric cars from the dockyard
  5. You don't really want to walk along any of the main roads, they are very narrow and it some places have walls on both side

  7. Yup, take the ferry to St Georges. The Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo is pretty nice. And yes too cold to go in the water unless you have a wetsuit or are a crazy teen The dockyard will get old pretty fast and you'll get bored of it. I would come up with a plan. Looks like it will be 70 next week with a low if 65 so not too bad of temps, however on or near the water will be cooler
  8. A robot vacuum cleaner will help with that 😆 All kidding aside probably the best money we every spent was on a robot vacuum / mop
  9. You are lucky you are not leaving Saturday, sounds like it will be miserable around here
  10. Their are a number of YT videos of idiots flying drones from ships as the ships were moving. Most of them never saw the drone again🤣 I wouldn't in a million years try it, too much metal, wind speed and interference from radar
  11. Thats why you need to put it in checked baggage, 4 times for me and always made it. I would not even think about flying it off the ship, in port or not.
  12. Yup, the Haven Spa Cabin my wife and I had was $1400 cheaper than the next cheapest Haven cabin on the GA. For that amount of money I'll spend the 90 seconds walking to the Haven Courtyard Lol
  13. The same on the Getaway on our last 12 days. The Concierge's explained on day one, port days when boarding the ship come to the forward gangway.
  14. Thanks, thats what I was hoping to hear
  15. Maybe my checked baggage comment wasn't clear. We have checked baggage going on the ship but plan to do easy walk off so no need to go to baggage claim. Wondering how long of a wait is their for the elevator
  16. Planning to do easy walk off in June. Do they have elevator(s)? Will be in a suite so hopefully will be one of the first off. Will have carry on and checked luggage, I know it NYC they do not allow you to use the escalator unless you have one free hand
  17. Wow, in 2018 we paid for $3500 for a balcony on the Jewel 7 day to Alaska out of Seattle
  18. I found PCP's were a waste of time. For years we been booking with the cheapest place I have found to book. Our TA handles a bunch of different cruise lines. I always see what the price is with NCL then book with them. Depending on the length of the cruise and where its going we always save $300-$700... sometimes more. A number of times our TA has surprised us with $250 OBC
  19. Your ship will be sold out. If you really want a balcony cabin I would either get it now if you can or plan to bid the maximum amount. Keep in mind a lot of time the max bid is more than what you could have paid for the a cabin if you just booked it outright
  20. Thanks, I figured it would was internal and not external and the need for divers.
  21. Curious what could have been down that they were able to repair it in port?
  22. Have you looked at NCL website?
