  1. The NCL Concierge email is .... norwegianconciergedesk@ncl.com I contacted them last week and got a response in 45 minutes
  2. Personally I would do easy walk off. Get it line early and the elevator should go quick. It can get pretty crazy and yes having an AirTag will help. I had to use it in this mess
  3. Thats very strange, when I click on the link it goes to Long Bay Beach.... See screen shot https://www.google.com/maps/place/Long+Bay+Beach/@32.3041525,-64.8719346,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x8a2d173d67eb36e5:0xc52c311a27fc06e3!8m2!3d32.304239!4d-64.8716954!16s%2Fg%2F11bw832rq7?entry=ttu
  4. Long Bay Beach is pretty calm and much closer to the cruise port https://www.google.com/maps/place/Clearwater+Beach/@32.3041982,-64.8731103,584m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m6!3m5!1s0x8a2d6d85032cb229:0xc2333fb654b1b8b1!8m2!3d32.355727!4d-64.6598386!16s%2Fg%2F1td48__g?entry=ttu
  5. How are you getting to NYC? Are you parking at the port? Porters both in front and on the roof of the terminal (parking lot) will have luggage tags if you can't print them out. Have a great time
  6. I'm with Kim, we have used H20 three times in the past, will be four in June and have never been disappointed. If money is tight rent kayaks or paddle boards and go to the little islands about 1/2 mile away
  7. Thanks! Do you happen to know if they rent chairs at Warwick Long Bay? I know they have a parking area but never paid any attention if they have a concession stand or not
  8. Or should I say concession / chair rental hours in June? Haven't been able to find out when they open up. My wife and I normally get there at 7am, walk way down and sit on towels. However we are going with friends who need chairs Thanks
  9. Probably take to 2025 just to do the dredging alone for the pier. I wonder if all the permits have been applied for yet?
  10. Not true all the time. The Joy sailing to Bermuda from NYC is cheaper than the Gem sailing to Bermuda in the same month - week
  11. If we are staying in the Haven the newer ships by far are better. If in a suite or regular cabin I'll take a Jewel class...... a lot less people and a larger pool deck. First is the itinerary......
  12. I too am surprised when I see post from people wanting to know who the Captain is on a certain ship, who the officers are? I check in to a hotel and wonder who the manager is. I guess I don't get it
  13. If you need to contact the Concierge Department via email here it is norwegianconciergedesk@ncl.com Our cruise is not until June but I was thinking about what we would like. Sent them an email this morning and within 45 minutes I got a nice reply back stating our request
  14. I believe it, the week we were getting off the Getaway in January 2023 our room steward was cleaning 16 cabins. She was very happy to be going home that month because right after that NCL was switching over to the once a day and adding cabins. She said if she was there she would be cleaning 22-24 cabins a day including 8? Haven Spa cabins
  15. Its funny whenever I have mentioned about building a pier at GSC it was followed by 50 comments about how it could never be done, it would cost too much 🤣
  16. I'll throw a monkey wrench into your question. I bought these tags because I liked the size, I then configured my printed tags to fit them. I made a template and just drop the new info in every time we cruise https://amzn.to/4cPdF6E
  17. I agree 100%, my favorite ships are the Jewel class
  18. You don't have to call anyone. When a cruise ship is in port they are there dam near 24/7. Watch the Bermuda web cam next time the Gem is in port
  19. Driving Manhattan can be pretty daunting for some, not me. I deal with traffic and crazy drivers everyday in Philly. NYC is just one step above that Lol
  20. Sunday to Sunday cruise..... if their is nothing usual going on traffic will be very light. 2/3rds of the people in Manhattan in the summer are tourist, residents will be at the beach or the mountains
  21. That little suction cup is a great idea. However on NCL the railings.... I think are rounded. I need to go back and look at some photos of balcoines
  22. I have done a lot of time lapse with both GoPro and DJI cameras. Not only will you need a mount you will also need a Power Bank. Not only a Power Bank but one with a trickle charge feature. I would also install GoPro's Labs Software on your GoPro. One of the nice features with it is the ability to force the camera to use power from a USB power source. GoPro is kind of funky when you are using or not using the internal battery AND connected to another power source. I really like this power bank because it has a trickle charge feature. https://amzn.to/3U2YdfU This Joby mount is great for ship railings https://amzn.to/43LYjM4
  23. Will be there in June also, leaving on the Gem June 28th out of Boston in a forward suite
