The sailings are now showing on the RCL site if you log in to your C and A account. I agree, I have never seen sailings this far out on the weekly sale

I was seeing the sale pricing this morning without even being logged in....which made it especially aggravating....oh well...time to "Let it Go"....:D

The price for my 11/14 Majesty cruise was the same on the website as on the flyer...but they stuck to the "New Bookings" only condition...:(

Bummer- Can't hurt to try again, especially if the price is published on their website. Good luck

I just did...same result....:( oh well...I'll just keep watching...maybe Sat. the prices will still be down..if not...then an inside for 4nts will be fine...

Just called to try & upgrade my inside cabin on Majesty to an SuperiorOV...on the website even without going thru the GGG link it was $10 more than my original price for an inside....rep on the phone told me it would be $110 to upgrade to a cat. H...when I told him what I was seeing he looked some more & said...oh that's the going going gone sale & is for new bookings only...when I questioned WHY the price showed the lower rate on the website he said oh, that price is for everyone...you don't need to be C&A to get the ggg price...so much for early access...needless to say I didn't upgrade...

That's for sure- or the ever popular "closed for inventory maintenance" line

I am Hopi g. Ever to use Delta again. I am a get that they can keep changing the vs. It is false advertising. I chose a flight with them based on the price and the times of the flights which were best for us. I might have chosen another airline. Two years ago when we went to Barcelona they changed our flight 4 times. We ended up sitting in airports for over 3 hrs each leg of the trip. It's the same as choosing a sofa only to have some other furniture delivered. It should be against the law.

I agree it's aggravating to have your flights changed...but just about every flight on every airline I've ever booked has seen some change or another...it's just the price we pay to enjoy traveling...

we are on the Grand next week for SF to Mexican Riviera, can you post some of the menus and movies etc, not that they will be the same.

Sorry...you have to wait until we get back from the Calif. Coastal the week before you sail....;):)

I have sent a face book message to RCI so hopefully they will reply with confirmation that the cruise is still sailing

Not to burst your bubble....but they will continue to tell you the cruise is still available right up until the moment you receive an email telling you it's chartered...been there...done that...

You can't use the GGG prices to upgrade yourself can you? I'm on Majesty 11/14 in an inside cabin...hoping to move to an OV...right now there are TONS of them available...

We sailed on the Jewel last year out of Seattle on 9-11 and there was no type of rememberence done by Royal...

Another change in C&A benefits then, because they used to do the tours when Monarch was still in the fleet...

Me to, maybe they should do that.

They do...it's called a "bar crawl"....where you check out all the bar's onboard to find your favorite one...:D

So are you saying that if I book it online now for my December cruise, I won't be able to take advantage of the BOGO? Or is it just that I have to pay for it now with a credit card, and then I can get reimbursed (with onboard credit) once I'm on the ship?

Yes...or you can book & pay for 1 person now & then add the 2nd person to your reservation once you are onboard...saves time asking for a credit later...

 

One thing about the Oceanview cabins - keep your curtains closed when you're not "presentable". I had crew members working on the lifeboats right outside my window for many hours. It was a bit shocking to look out and see them looking right in!

Thanks for that heads up...I have an obstructed OV on the Grand in a couple weeks...would hate to give the crew a "show"...

As others said it is acceptable, however you brought up being wasteful yourself and you Need to realize that yes you would be wasteful if you don´t eat it.

I don't see sharing 1 plate among 3 people as being wasteful even if they don't eat it all...no more wasteful than anyone else ordering an entree...not liking it & ordering another....

As a solo traveler I am ok with an inside...but I often find it's not that much of a cost savings for me, so I book an OV...I do prefer the natural light & knowing what the weather is like before getting dressed...cabin of choice is a balcony...but if the price is to much I'll book whatever I need to in order to get on the ship...:)

what? they get hurricanes every year. florida is a large state though, i had my mother calling to check on me once for a hurricane down in miami, but in orlando it was a perfectly lovely day. so not all hurricanes will affect all cruises.

*sigh* ok hurricanes affect florida every year. they are not seeming to count the keys as florida, which is silly. also they don't seem to count if te eye doesn't touch land, which is odd. so i guess technically it has been a while, but misleading at best.

Hurricane Hermine was the first Hurricane to make LANDFALL in Florida in 11 years...yes, we've been "affected" by them in passing...but they have not hit the state since 2005...and we're not complaining one bit...we had 4 hit the state in 2004 happy to have a bit of a break!:)

I was able to print my boarding pass & luggage tags right after I made final payment....even though my return flight was booked thru Princess EzAir & was not ticketed until about 46 days before the flight was scheduled to depart...

Checked pricing on my Nov. cruise & it's up $174 from yesterday....LOTS of OV cabins available & it's after final pmt. so hoping to see some price drops there...

I've only seen it at breakfast....and you can't get it from room service either...I've tried several times...it's sooooo good...my favorite bread of all!

Yes you can...but call quickly as price drops can come & go very fast!

Have you joined your "roll call"? Perhaps there is someone also staying at the Holiday Inn and you can share a ride and split the cost.
