  1. So, the analysts adjust their price target based on this and when NCLH misses the mark, as it did recently with revenues, the stock tanks and people blame the analysts for having unrealistic expectations. Hahaha! Turn a blind eye to falsehoods spewed by Dirty Harry Sommer and company. The hypocrisy on these boards is second to none.
  2. Never been to a BlueIguana without arepas.
  3. Even more precisely, it was a conflict of interest for NCL and Buffet. Buffet's group operates their own cruise brand.
  4. La Strada Grille, Deck 5. Only other options are on Lido Deck, Pizza, Guy's,Deli, Tomodoro.
  5. La Strada Grille outside on Deck 5
  6. Noon as correctly mentioned above. 230 end time.
  7. Margaritaville if there are no other ships in port with you.
  8. I don't know. The port day breakfast times were unchanged whether it was our 7 am arrival in San Juan or our 9 am arrival in Half Moon Cay last week.
  9. Sure, sea day brunch 830-noon. Port day breakfast is 7-9. Both in grande canal.
  10. That is the key. Find a fair price for what they offer, and realigning expectations for the now expected itinerary disruptions. We are diversified in multiple cruise companies. Unfortunately, we didn't buy enough RCL coming out of Corona time. Their return on investments have significantly outpaced Norwegian and Carnival. It isn't even close.
  11. 1. Yes. 2. Chocolate buffet in Lido Marketplace on final day. 3. Yes. They call it elegant night. We had two on the 11day run. We saw everything from tuxedos and evening gowns to shirts and tank tops. 4. All decks except Deck 3 since the galley is located midship on Deck 3. Deck 5 has an outdoor promenade that allows you to make it 75% of the way around that deck. The private Terraza balconies prohibit you from making the complete circle.
  12. ...paying down mountains of debt through huge profits on alcohol. Think of the profit margin on a $9.25 beer that might cost them $1, likely less.
  13. They could always raise the service charge to $22 or $23 per person per day to help meet their revenue projections.
  14. These are all old menus. Menu price of 16 oz beers last week on Venezia are $9.25, this includes the carnival branded beers and imports. Domestic $8.75. You can get a "deal" if you buy a six pack for $49.50. Ouch. Pretty steep. We passed on drinking this time.
  15. All aboard time is all aboard time. It is not a suggestion, unlike stop signs in Cozumel. 😀😀
  16. I didn't read the report. My simple mind is wondering how could they miss revenue in a period of record demand, with record bookings at substantially higher fares? Did they just overestimate their results?
  17. I mean NCL isn't transparent about itinerary changes or distribution of daily charges, why would anyone expect them to be transparent about the origin of policy changes. Maybe cruisecritic is the "guest feedback" referred to in the canned press releases. 😀😀😀
  18. We enjoyed sea day brunch and port day breakfast in the MDR on Venezia recently. The breakfast buffet is ok for MTO eggs, cereal, fruit and pastries, but we find the eggs benedict, pancakes, etc to be of room temperature and not hot. By the time we get coffee and reserve a table, it is magnified. If you don't get to the buffet before 930, expect long lines and overall chaos.
  19. No time to have any letdowns. Plus, why would they let someone else's actions control their feelings. Whether someone tips or doesn't tip extra is out of the control of the server, so no need to fret. They just move on to the next guest with a smile.
  20. Venezia still had the toiletry bags last week.
  21. We did it pre Corona. It was second to none. Amazing tour, amazing tour guide. Be prepared for a long day....bus travel, walking, etc. it was pricy, but worth it in our opinion.
  22. Unfortunate to read, but not unexpected anymore. If you don't like it, consider doing what we did....take your business elsewhere. We've done one Princess and three Carnival since our last NCL. Maybe we are lucky, but we've had no itinerary changes and have made all scheduled ports of call. I have no idea if Carnival Corp is being environmentally friendly or if they are following guest feedback nor do I care. What I can say is that they delivered to us the exact vacations that were advertised without excuses. We appreciate the stability as we continue to sit on multiple unused NCL cruise next certificates.
