Am I correct that Princess will soon begin charging $10 for shipping medallions unless you buy one of their new packages? I read they will & I read they won't so I'm not sure.

I'm starting to see posts that some pax are being left towel animals on Princess cruises. If our steward does this would I be rude if I ask him not to? Our cabins are usually interiors, space is limited, towel animals are actually in the way. I never know what to do with them, feel mean & ungrateful if I dismantle them & use the towel.

My 2 sisters are joining us for their very 1st cruise, our 24th. They read somewhere that there will be a gold/white night. They are so excited, getting special clothing, special jewelry, shoes. I'll be sad for them if it doesn't happen. DH & I are slacks & nice tops for formal night people. We'll be a diverse group, but happy in each other's company. 😊

We've taken 3 medallion cruises. About to take our 4th. I do all the prep for our cruises, & I've had very few problems. But I don't try to make dining reservations for the mdr or the specialty dining venues. I've read those can be troublesome.

2 in our group are getting their medallions at the port. I see under the qr code it says, "Have medallion & passport visible." When, where, how do they get their medallions? We've always had ours mailed so I don't know anything about this. Any info appreciated. They are 1st time cruisers so are a little anxious. I know they'll feel better if I can tell them the process. Thanks!

So many things I like about Princess. One of my faves is being able to refare or rebook if my fare drops. A friend asked me if other lines do this. Got me thinking. Does any other line allow you to do this?

Is there a rule about where that wine may & may not be consumed?

My sisters will cruise with us in Feb. One of them wants to bring on a bottle of wine. We have zero wine experience. Should she pack it in her carryon? Have it out to show someone? What is the procedure? Any info appreciated.
