  1. You will be able to use OBC for promo chips. You can use and then when you win you will be paid with real chips. Then you can cash in your winnings.

To cash in the promo chips that depends on the ship you are on. You will see many threads on the subject.

  2. The lunch for concierge, Zenith and BTB is not listed on app sometimes so do not fret. You might get an email about it and sometimes nothing. X never has good communication with their limited systems when it comes to IT. Not their strong point. App is not end all. Check other hand or ask someone.

  3. Lunch is 1130 to 130. but varies on cruise depending on embarkation problems. I would just go to door and they will let you in or not. If you want something private go to sushi on 5. you can get something other than fish. That what we do.

  4. We have recently done Equinox, veranda in Dec 22; Edge, retreat in Oct 22; Silhouette retreat in Oct 22; and Apex veranda in Feb 23. All were great cruises. I agree with the original review. If you are talking talking rooms I would take Edge class all the way. Bathrooms are much better with showers and sinks. Only is infinity rooms. We happen to love them. Dining, we loved Murano best then Eden both outstanding though. Tuscan has really gone down hill and price has gone up and service not as good as it once was a year ago. I also think the Oceanview on Edge class has more choices and both are good. MDH on Equinox was better than Apex. Food was better for dinner, lunches were same. Service same. Theater was much better in Edge class due to technology and newness. We love the martini bars on both ships and love to have something different on the Edge class and love what they did to the Edge lounge at night for entertainment. The Edge class ships lack comfortable chairs in all venues compared to the S class ships. All the chairs are very uncomfortable and hard to get out of. In summary both classes are great and differ enough to make experience different and great.

  5. Lamb is always excellent on any X ship. They used to have lamb chop on MDH but have stopped. Now you can get on the Edge class ship in their bistro on Saturday on Apex. We go there the embarkation day. There is cover charge but it is worth it. We also get mussels with it. Both were great last week. Too much for lunch but worth it.

  6. We love sushi on 5 on the Equines. We go there embarkation day and at least one other. They have great kobi sliders and other stuff for those that do not like sushi. On ther ships like Apex they have bistro which is what you were remembering. Both are great to get away for a quiet meal.

  7. We booked two rooms for Wife and 2 daughters and granddaughter on our cruise last week on the Apex. We did not know the three other X CC numbers and we were able to add them up return home after we researched and found them and had to call CC to find the granddaughters but were then successful adding them to their reservations. So you can add later if you are asking how.to add number, just call CC.

  8. We just got off the Apex on Sunday. Food was great in main dining room for lunches on sea days and dinners. This is always an arbitrary judgement. I can only compare versus our 67 on celebrity. We find most are very good, but it varies greatly by ship and by Chef on that cruise. Same menus will produce different results for us. Example, we do lunch on sea days. All menus in MDR are the same and yet every cruise the food quality is different. For the most part all are very good in the past and on the Apex they were great. In Dec we were on Silhouette and it was even better on those days.

  9. We are just of the Apex. We ate in regular dining each night in the Tuscan. We did lunch in MDR, Bistro and OVC. We also ate in Eden one night. We just did Silhouette in Dec and Edge and Equinox last year. Back to the Apex. Menu was missing the Beef and several lamb dishes, but still had very good options each night. Two nights we did not like the menu selections and we ordered Filets off the kids menu. They were outstanding, done perfect we no sauces. I wish we would have known this was an option in past years. Service was great at all venues. The Bistro for lunch was outstanding the muscles and lamb chops were the best ever on ships. We only did one buffet lunch and it was outstanding compared to previous cruises, many  options. I do not know if it was just that Apex had a good chef of what but it was great. Only problem we had was getting a premium Chardonnay. Lunches in the MDH were same as usual with the same 4 menus and food was great, only one app was bad and that was beef ironically. Eden was great but should be for the price.

We will be doing a full review.

  10. I said that after 3 cruises too after 30 I was sad that I did. After that I stayed with X except for a few with family on other lines then the next 66 were with X and now we turn Zenith. I wish after 10 I started with X. I could be saving some of the cash I spent. Despite what you hear on CC it is still a great cruise for us and now we can have the perks when we want, with laundry, prep beverage, and better internet and best perk call a special Z telephone number and someone actually answers right away.
