  1. Last Friday I went to check on a new cruise on X Site. I went to CC tab and much to my surprise my points went from 3010 to 0, that's right 0. Having just been called by Celebrity last week and congratulated for turning Zenith. We then booked a free cruise over the weekend. Now we have 0. I was surprised. So yesterday day my spouse call to book another cruise and while on she told CC rep about points and she was going to take care of. Then I checked last nigh and again early this morning but still zero. Then I went to Facebook this morning and saw a solution. Someone, Nancy, suggested to go to settings on X site and delete your CC# and reenter number and it worked, all points returned. So if you account goes to 0, do not panic try doing this suggestion.

  2. another it and marketing combo that is awful. I do not think they ever test anything before putting it out to their loyal customers.

At least when the try things aboard ships they generally test on ships like the summit or other ship to test reactions and interests. One good that I saw tested on summit was silent disco. it was expanded to all ships in a year.

  3. I did do another account but that did not work. Until this morning when I received an email to verify my email. Then I tried to click on account and it said temporarily unable to connect. Then I click on second link and that did not work either.

I believe this only went to Zenith and then will roll out to all CC members.

  4. Yesterday we received an email from Celebrity asking us to join this new celebrity experience. I think tried to register and they did not recognize my email. As we all know X systems are not the best. So I stopped trying. This morning I received another email confirming my registration. So I clicked on the link. Now nothing on the page. Has any other Zenith tried to register or link to the site? For the record, I tried on my Mac and my iPad. The experience looks interesting, so if someone was able to get connected I would be interested on what you think.

  5. We were on Equinox in Oct in MDR and Equinox in July in Blu(our waiter got anything off MDR Menu). We usually do Blu on most cruises. When in MDR in Oct we had a great table for whole cruise, outstanding service and great food. We like the Blue service and view in restaurant. It really is a toss up depending on what you like and table you get. In May we were on edge blu and that was not good, no view, and service was not as good. I would either do retreat or mdr on Edge class. M class is another story, I agree with others Blu or MDR is good. Any choice is great other than E class Blu, not worth it. It depends on what you are willing to pay and what table and service you get.

  6. I use promo chips on every cruise. I usually do 100 dollars at a time, last cruise I did 150 at a time. all $1 chips. At the roulette table you bet $5 minimum. Also, you cannot play red/black, you must use real cash $5 for that match play for elite on up.

  7. I have been told on several ships that you have to use elite plus minutes before using the free minutes. On one of our cruises used the minutes first because they are for the fast internet and could watch a game and use FaceTime.. Then I used the all internet, regular speed rest of cruise.

  8. We were on the Equinox last month. We left in Terminal 25 and returned to 18. Infinity was in 25. I always use the parking garage. I have a walker. I drop off my wife and luggage and go park. I take my time and it usually takes 15 minutes. Wife gets a wheelchair for me and meets me at entrance. On the return last time my wife and I got a porter which takes us to the curb. I then went to shuttle van and I was only one on and he took me to parking garage. Took 5 minutes and I went back to wife and luggage.

  9. I have also experienced many problems with this card. I was planning on getting rid of the card and then they, X, inadvertently used it when I was on the last cruise. I did not even give it to them as the X card to use. now I must keep for another couple of months until it clears.

The main issue was when I had several cruises canceled in March of 2020. At that time I had over $800 dollars of OBC credit on two cruises. Much of it was lost when the cruises were cancelled. I spent hours of phone time with CC, Boa, and X's department that handled cancellation problems. I vowed never to use the card again. Again this year, a cruise on RCL was cancelled due to us getting Covid. On this cruise we had $150 of OBC that had to be moved back to our credit card as a credit. However, they then took credit back as to the amount of the cruise value because the cruise was cancelled and we took cash. I know they have the right to do but they never tell you anything about what would happen. Lets just say the process is not one.

  10. The auto tipping for specialty dinning started a few months ago. I was on the equinox last month. We went to Tuscan and Murano and in both cases we did not get a bill. Charges are now just charged to your room with gratuity included. We booked on board and got our CC discount at least. I do know that to get special price of CC you must call ahead of time, otherwise you will not get it. If you go to restaurant or GR you might get it but they could turn it down.

We have a cruise next month and I booked an excursion and they charged me on my credit card instead of using our OBC which I did not give them. They had it from our last cruise I guess. We have not checked in yet. I will have to call or cancel to straighten it out. All I know it is not right to do this.
