9201 on the Constellation was great. No noise or cig smoke from above and just a few steps from the Sunset Bar.

On our Jan Connie cruise started embarking at 7:20am. No lines at customs. But think I'd rather drive 10 hrs then stuck in a train for 12. IMO

Looks damn good to me. Going to have a hard time selecting from the many great choices.

I wouldn't worry, except that it seems slightly, um, … illegal? I know that they ring up the drinks as if you're buying them each time, but you're not actually buying them each time, so there's no taxable sale taking place.

To be honest, your probably right. Don't remember paying tax on drinks at the port with drink pkg. The point want to make is some peeps are saying u have to pay a tax on the UBP if purchased b/4 sailing and that is BS in the FL ports.

Have purchased the UBP 3 times. The cost plus 15 per cent gratuity. No taxes. When getting a drink in the POM or coastal waters a local tax is charged on the drink if u have the pkg or not. Now this may not be true in every state. Have heard Texas is different.

Should have stated the tax while in port or local water's.

Local taxes are not added to the package when purchased in port. But the drinks u get on the package, u will be charged just the tax on that drink. Pennies, don't worry about it. Just enjoy the drink pkg.

Add on a dollar every drink. don't know why, just a habit.

MSC Cruises - Could you tell me how much a shot of Patron Silver Tequila is? I'm trying to figure out pricing for our upcoming cruise in March and whether or not to buy a drink package.... that is the only thing I've yet to find as I don't see it listed on any of the bar menus. :(

Saw it listed somewhere at either $9.25 or 9.75. Cheaper then most other lines.

Received the Special pricing E mail. Called TA to book,but was to good to be true . Agent called MSC and they won't answer phone, tells me it's a glitch and MSC is working on it.

Had the same problem with MSC. Called the TA from my email. Booked immediately in the room of my choice.

The Attessa IV is a 330 mega ship owned and refurbished by Dennis Washington a construction and mining tycoon worth an est $5 billion. Many think Bill Gates owner cause he is on it at times.

Your experience has been my experience all 5 times boarding at the port of Miami. I suspect some think when the security line breaks in two (for each scanner) they believe it is a separate security line. The port controls the security. Those security officers do not work for NCL or any other cruise line. Why would they be concerned with dividing the passengers for VIP or suite? They are going to hire more guards and security screeners for NCL suite guests? I think not.

The security line in Miami moves very quick. I don't think you could get faster priority security anyway.

David, Five times boarding at the POM will not make any of us an expert. Have been cruising from POM for 36 yrs and I haven't seen everything.

The reports from people on the ship state the grandmother left the children at the pool to go have a cigarette. This is child negect pure and simple period. Child negect is against the law.

Now after reading more posts, going out to 100% agree with Michelle. She and I have seen the left side of security checkin VIP.

I was going to agree with Michelle but after reading all the posts, maybe I'm wrong. But thought when the one line became 2 at the X-rays, left was for VIP. Maybe someone just called out VIP's over here to get us moving to the left line.

Think CCL lunch buffet is the worst on the sea's.

Just off the 5 day Constellation and the X "vibe" just wasn't there. Felt like a CCL. Think the free drink pkg alot to do with it. Nothing against CCL or NCL, sail them alot more than X. But usually know what to expect.

Are not there laws against this kind of behavior?

Thank you Millie, I was beginning to think maybe it was just me that had a problem. I cancelled my 3/31 cruise.

please post a pic of your cruise attire so we can copy the "right" way to dress on our vacation .

If u can read, X has the explanation on their website and in brochure.
