One thing to note, the Spirit was built for the Orient. All the chairs, tables and vanities are a bit lower. Something most would not notice. Wife is short and loved it. But even for a 6' plus no problem.

Lets all quit sailing X until the showers are pristine.

How do u all know for a fact it is mold & mildew. Did u ever see dark stains that look like mold? Seems like your all ignoring some Knowledgeable post by contractors and people in the know on this thread.
-
Maybe the folks on CCl will be wearing more body ink.
-
Have done both X and CCL this year and really hard to tell any difference in the MDR. Feel the service may have been better on X.

OK now I get it. When is your March Constellation cruise. We going 1/20 and march 31st. Free drink pkg did it.

Love that location, can fall out of Longboards, down the stairs and into the room. Never have seen Longboards get very loud late at nite. Uusally very quiet, only a few people.

Ridiculous Prices
I was looking for a short cruise for my folks out of Southern Florida pre-holidays.
I came across a bunch of crazy cheap deals. As an example Norwegian Sky Dec 9, OV 4 days for $139 with some OBC.
The teachers rate brings it down to 119 or with a balcony for $219
The crazy part is 3rd and 4th passengers are FREE. I realize port fees must be paid but still...
Is this normal for NCL ? Doing at little math that come to $15 a day pre-gratuity and fees. And then there's the OBC.
I get that empty cabins don't buy drinks but at what point is low too low.
I know it sounds like I'm complaining and I apologise for that.
Rich, how does even $109 come out to $15 aday. Isn't that $27.25. Going next week 4 days midship balconey $199 pp. Love it.

For those making snarky comments about not accepting a 'little mold'...please remember that for some people, mold can cause serious health issues.
Have u not read, it could be stains caused by mold. Not an active mold culture. If it where mold, a little bleach would immediately remove. Understand that mold can be very dangerous to many people inc. myself.

Some of you are pretty accepting of this mold! If a bathroom in a hotel was like this I'd be outta there the very next day and wouldn't go back!
I'd be willing to bet that a cabin that Bayley was staying in wouldn't be like the ones in the pictures.
This is atrocious and should not be accepted by any one.
Not always active mold but stains caused by mold that will not be removed except for new tile & grout.

Anyway cruise next week on NCL and one of their DOD is a Dark & Stormy. So I'm covered.
-
And I was on two weeks ago and plenty. Including at Half Moon and Little Stirrup Cays.

But as current supply is used up on the various ships have been told by crew will not be replaced. Have a special deal with Barcardi. Now we know, anything can change. Will have to wait and see.

Early bars open at 8am, sometimes setting up at 7:30am and will fix u a drink. Check the daily newsletter. Have fun, sound like my kind of peeps.

I love Bellinis! But when I asked for it on the Spirit, they didn't know what it was...
Did u pronounce it like u spelled it?

Why are there still comments about Capt Morgan being removed when it has been explained and found NOT to be true. Only a rumour. Even John Herald had in his blog and in facebook about these things getting out of control with talk that is baseless. He then reiterated how it is not going anywhere and has had no plans to go any where.

What do u mean a rumour. I have personally been on CCL recently and no Capt Morgan. What can't u understand about that? U call that baseless. When was your last CCL cruise and did u see and CM or Gosling?
-
Wife, mimosa. Me, Dark & Stormy. But never stop at just one.
-
You would actually change cruise lines because of one alcohol choice change on a line's ships?
Hell ya, I cruise to drink. But seriously just need a small reason to get off CCL and back to the rest. 5 CCL cruise's this year, maybe enough for awhile.
-
Did the Paradise 9/30/13. No Capt or Goslings Black Seal. Bartenders said CCL had a new deal with Bacardi. The hell with em going on NCL next week and have a load of Dark & Stormy's. JH wrong again.

The reviewer said ". . . I've cruised previously with Royal Caribbean and not only was the entertainment outstanding . . . "
But here are the cruises identified in her signature:
Past Cruises:NCL Epic/Eastern Caribbean January 2013NCL Epic/Eastern Caribbean March 2012NCL Spirit/Western Caribbean December 2010NCL Gem/Eastern Caribbean November 2008Carnival Fantasy/Western Caribbean March 2008Celebrity Summit/Alaska June 2005Do you see any Royal Caribbean there?
Think these are the OP's past cruise's.

Emtee3511, think u did a great service. Thank you.

Still don't know how to figure this out. Am using a AMEX owned agent in Miami. If any connection would like to know.

Insofar as this TA went under, can someone memtion their name. Wondering if we have used them in the past. Thanks

If I could actually consume 15 drinks of anything in a day, I could drink 15 of Carnivals "alcoholic" drinks. I can never taste or feel any alcohol. At home it doesn't take much for me to feel tipsy. One glass of wine and I feel it. I get NOTHING from the DOD or any other drink except they do taste good.
Beer would be a whole different story for me, but the alcoholic drinks, NADA - ZILCH - ZIPPO.
I know you all think my name would indicate otherwise. It's deceiving.
DOD do not have much alcohol. Mostly fruit punch.

Could "sleeping" been mistaken for passed out? :p
