  1. Another thing I would like to mention. It seems to me that you would lose the perspective of even being on a ship. It's so big and it's made up in "neighborhoods". On smaller ships you can see the ocean in places, even if it's through a window. I love feeling of being at sea. I just seems to me you wod miss that on a mega ship. Does anyone else feel like this on a mega ship?
  2. I thought ice cream was 24 hour. I guess that changed. The last time I cruised was right before quarantine.
  3. I'm not a fan of the mega ships either. I am sure they are beautiful and full of many things to do. I get a little overwhelmed thinking about being in the middle of the ocean with so many people. I know most people love them and that's great, just not for me.
  4. Are the.showers in the spa on the Magic open to the rest of the ship? I know that on the Conquest ships , you can shower in the spa. (Or you could at one time) My son, his wife and 2 kids are sharing a cabin. Having that extra shower option would be awesome
  5. There was no reason for me to keep up with all the goings on while we weren't cruising. Now that we have booked a cruise, I'm trying to get caught up. It has nothing to do with loyalty. I know a lot of things have changed. This is why I've come back to the boards. There is a lot of good info here.
  6. I happen to like it, but I don't get all the hub bub with the chocolate melting cake. I had it on my first cruise and meh...I haven't ordered it since. To each their own.
  7. Can't wait to try it on our upcoming Vista cruise. I am recovering from back surgery so I am interested in how hard it is to peddle.
  8. We ordered a welcome aboard cake for some friends cruising for the first time. They wanted to wait til the end of the cruise (7 days) to cut it. When we finially cut it, it was spoiled. I don't mean stale, I mean spoiled. We did not know it was supposed to be refridgerated. Lesson learned. Other cakes we have order were very good.
  9. Its not that I can't live without camo for a week, my favorite backpack is camo. I have others, so I'll survive. (and I'm sure you meant "week")
  10. We used to watch for FTTF to open up on our cruises. Platium now, so not an issue. We enjoyed it and thought it was worth it. However, I don't know if I would be willing to pay the price now. I think the most we paid was around 60.00 to 70.00.
  11. I had a small suitcase lost and embarkation. Two days later it was found. It was delivered to another cabin. On another cruise, a bag was accidently deliver to us that wasn't ours. We immediately advised the steward. I hope it didn't take 2 says for its owners to get it.
  12. I seem to remember that there are a few ports in the Caribbean where camo is not allowed. Is this still a thing? If so, which ports?
