  1. Then obviously you have the TA's confirmation and invoice for your cruise. I can not think of any reason that the TA would not include the OBC they are giving you on their invoice. It is probably not going to make you fell any better, but I would certainly be leery. Did you confirm that your deposit was actually charged to Celebrity and not the TA?

Yes, it was charged to Celebrity. I have asked him to send Me confirmation of additional OBC. We shall see.

  2. It is good to have it from the TA but if for some reason they don't give you the credit when you get onboard having it in writing won't get it for you. If they don't have it in their system you will still have to contact your TA to contact corporate.

On Princess we had a group and onboard they had no record of our credit and said the TA must not have put it thru. They said that to the TA who was on the cruise and was the one who went to guest relations. She told them she damn well had put it thru and had her documentation of it. not enough. She had to contact Princess corporate and her DSM while on the ship. They had it in corporate but somehow had not forwarded it to the ship. We did get the onboard credit while onboard.

    Thank you for that information.

  3. Perhaps you do not receive any additional OBC from your TA or you do not receive the actual Celebrity confirmation/invoice?

From my experience the OBC from the TA (additional out of their commission) never shows on the actually confirmation/invoice from Celebrity (or on line)' but the TA OBC is always reflected on the TA's confirmation/invoice. Or perhaps your TA never sends you the actual Celebrity confirmation/invoice because some TAs do not send both of them.

OP, did you receive two confirmations/invoices?

I received a confirmation invoice from my TA which shows my Go Better perks (classic bev pkg and$150 OBC pp). It did not show additional OBC offered by TA anywhere.

I have asked my TA to send me an email confirming this additional OBC.

I think the comment about trusting my TA is just silly. It's just good practice to have everything in writing. There's no way to get it fixed once I'm on board.

  4. Just wondering where I would see evidence of having this OBC credit? I was told that in addition to the $150 pp OBC (Go Better pkg), my travel agent gave me $150 of OBC. But I am not seeing this on my reservation on Celebrity, nor is it indicated on the invoice my TA sent me.

Should I be seeing it somewhere?

  5. On my last cruise this past August I had to go to about 5 bartenders before one knew how to make me a Paralyzer. And this bartender knew it by a different name.

Just for fun, does anyone else know? And bonus points anyone know what the another name is?

Is it the same thing as a Painkiller? Rum, Pineapple juice, cream of coconut and orange juice?

It looks like they are missing the white chocolate half. And these look more cookie-like and less cake-like. :(

  7. Can someone post a picture of these black and white cookies?

I don't know what they are and I so want to know :o

Here is a photo of a black and white cookies. Not Celebrity's but this is a reasonable facsimile of it. They are cake-like and half dipped in dark chocolate; half dipped in white chocolate.

    OMG, I'm drooling.

  8. We are looking at a Seven Seas cruise in early 2018, but I'm a bit confused with their pricing.

Just looking at the lowest category veranda cabin, it lists the brochure price at $10,998 per person, then next to it shows a "2-for-1 fare" of $3999. Is that the entire fare? Why the vast difference between the brochure pricing (which is per person) and the 2-for-1 fare which I'm assuming is the total fare?

Is the "2-for-1 fare" pricing a special rate they have going on for a short time, or is this always how they price their cruises?

  9. I have the same problem. Find it extremely odd that you cannot get diet tonic water at any bars or restaurants. I didn't realize I could bring it on board the Summit. Do I needa doctor's note?
