    Just checking in... arrived safely home to Portland, Oregon last night... it was dark, cold and raining a gale... the woman next to me asked if it was too late to change our minds and go back....😅 Got a peek of Hanauma Bay and Diamond Head... already missing the pool, view... and sun....🌞 Take care... and hoping everyone is well and having fun....!!

    Can't believe it's been two months... flying home tomorrow... it's been great...!! Thought I'd share last night's gorgeous Waikiki sunset... that was followed by a thumbnail moon...😊

    I would have failed as a spotter during WWII....but I am pretty certain a BHB...Noordam ??...cruised in at sunset last night...a day early as one of several other cruise ships arriving this week... cruised out... Curious... maybe a medical emergency....??

    Thought I should check in...and confess that at the last moment...I extended my vacation for another month...☺️ I will fly home on October 28th... I hope everyone is staying well...and staying out of harms way...!!!

    Arrived safely....made an early trip to Walmart.... and then straight to the pool...... it's beautiful....!!!

    I'm flying to Waikiki next Wednesday....solo...and for a month...!! Before I go....I need some tech advice....and please keep in mind...I had to watch a youtube video on how to turn off my Pixel 6 Pro....:) When taking an amazing photo on my phone....how can I share/send/move it to Cruise Critic....???

    @kazu Jacqui....those look like very "good boys" indeed....!!!! Curious minds....and I had to google....:) Daffodils are blooming down-under....."There are blankets of daffodils at the Fitzroy Gardens usually from late August until early September....in Melbourne"

    So many things to remember about Cartagena.....like a churro and the thick hot chocolate.... And the tug struggling to ease the Koningsdam out of port....truly threading the needle....:)

    What a fantastic plan...!! Is this something that will happen quickly.....possibly even before your next cruise in October....??? Or will you be "threading the needle" between cruises.....:)

    Sadly....a serious post.... Jacqui @kazu.....is crushingly devastated... Her rescue dog, Shadow, is seriously disabled due to surviving a previous (non-disclosed) distemper that caused nerve damage affecting her back legs. Jacqui is often struggling to physically lift and carry her. She is in the painful process of trying to find a special needs/disabled rescue. Please keep her in your prayers.....

    Over three months ago....I finally broke down and bought a smartphone....a Pixel 6 Pro.... Yesterday....I had to watch a youtube video on how to turn it off.....!! There really should be classes for old dotty seniors....:)

    We were also an outdoorsy and camping family.....and the very best part of s'mores is sitting around the campfire and toasting the marshmallows............I particularly like mine "crispy".....!!! 🙂
