I changed my mind about my month in Hawaii........again....:) I looked at the condo website and "my" dates were still available... I am still super concerned about covid....but I'm also tired of it too......:( I do have trip insurance that covers both the flight and the condo...and covid.... So....unless something else comes up before then...I will be flying out on August 31st.....:)

After a lot of deliberation...I think I am going to cancel my trip to Waikiki....this would have been my 16th trip..... Even though I am double-vaxxed and double-boosted....the new covid variance is just too contagious....and spending a month trying to dodge covid....just isn't sounding too appealing right now... Hopefully the upcoming booster this fall will be effective...and I can re-book....!!! Just wanted to warn everyone....I'm sure I'll have great big crocodile tears on the day I was suppose to fly out......:)

Just now...I added my pulse oximeter to my Hawaii....UK....and cruise travel lists... @marshhawk Go...do it....it's a great cruise plan....!! I have a friend...just this morning....asking about taking an Alaskan cruise with her friend this September. I told her....we prefer going on early May cruises to Alaska...but I wouldn't put it off....go do it now....

I still use a wheeled carry-on....but everyone else in our family have switched to travel-size backpacks....

Yes we did....and it was a fun cruise....!! 🙂 @Cruzin Terri Terri...I also break up long flights as @aliaschief explained. Only I'm on the west coast and going east. I learned a valuable lesson after taking a direct red eye to London...and had major jet lag for days. I now take a daylight flight to Boston...stay overnight...and another daylight flight to London with no jet lag and feeling great.....then...I do the same coming home...due to the time change difference....there is plenty of time to poke around Boston on the trip back....!!

I have had many trips to Hawaii....and two of them were cruises.... And...I have never once passed an opportunity of going to Duke's and enjoying Korean BBQ tacos....:)

I am totally flunking the "Rabbit, Rabbit, White Rabbit"....for the last several months I've been saying "Ribbit, Ribbit, Ribbit".....as in green frog.........:)

First time I've heard of it.....I wonder how packed it would be....I often listen to Celtic Thunder and another Alaska cruise definitely has it's appeal.....:)
