I was wondering what color shoes to wear with a dress that is described as gold, but the reviews say it is a champagne color. It is a very flirty dress with sequins in the bodice and satin tie around the waist that ties in the back. The bottom of the dress is made of tulle.

Oh my goodness! Thank you, Ladies! Thank you for all your kind words, prayers and well wishes. When my husband was in college, some psychic told him "your marriage is going to be long, but you won’t be happy until the end". My husband was married for 35 years. He believes I am it; therefore I have to be OK. I beat it nine years ago. I also survived the accident and able to walk again. I am tough and a fighter. I believe this is just a bit setback for me.

I just wanted to let you know I have decided to quit posting on this thread. I should not let one poster bother me, but it did. Like Iheatdba and Burm said “I should be taking care of myself first”. That is what I am going to do. They are two people on this board who know I have a major health issue for the last three months. I am going to flight it. I have a big cruise coming up.

Marie {{{{{HUGS}}}}}. How sad that a few rotten apples can spoil what you have made into something beautiful...your generous spirit and the empathy you display to the women on this site. There are not many like you, but I have appreciated the wonderful presents that I have received from you. Not only the gifts you send, but your kind spirit you have shown to others when they have been ill...myself included.

And being a two time breast cancer survivor, I know how you must feel when dealing with a major health issue. YOU come first, and where there is stress happening, sometimes you may have to erase it. Your health is your number one priority. I can only imagine what you must be feeling now. That is why I don't post often here...too much bickering and jealousy when certain "ladies" can't get what they want.

I only hope that you would reconsider and not allow those rotten apples to have the power over you. You are too graceful and generous of a woman to allow them to have that. But like you mentioned earlier, concentrate on your health because that is what is most important.

There is an old saying, "every dog has their day", and what goes around comes around right back to them.

Do you have a picture of it - or the style name? They sell Michael Kors at the Navy Base that I live near, and every now and again they actually have a limited selection at Ross here - I would be happy to keep an eye out for you if I know what I am looking for?

Oh Cindy, thank you so much. I do not have the style name. They were selling designer bags at the hospital where I work for the Women's Board. I spotted it, picked it up, walked around with it, but at the time I was just so sad about what was going on with not having my results. My coworker actually told me to buy it then because she "knew" my results would come out good. I wished I would had listened to her.

It was an very light colored cream bag, mid size with a hobo look and both handles were held together with the MK insignia with leather strapping. They had them in the medium size and large size. The price was $248 I believe. Wish I could describe it better, but I am still looking online for it. I will know it when I see it.

That is sad. Retail therapy is in order. Good luck. Also very happy your tests were negative.

Hey, never thought of that. I will take a look. I want that bag. I like MK bags, but I don't care for all the "lettering" all over ANY bag. But this bag was sedate with the two handles with the circular initials. Never saw that design before. I will keep searching though.

Unfortunately the bag that I wanted is no longer available. I even searched on-line for it and I don't see it. Oh well...maybe a nice pair of shoes for my cruise or perhaps I should look for another handbag. So disappointed...

Thanks so much for thinking about me. Just received great news. I am fine!!! Now I can go ahead and plan my cruise. I am going to buy myself a bag that I saw at Macy's (Michael Kors)...a little expensive, but what the heck, I want it and it will be my celebratory gift to myself...hahah!!!

I send you thoughts & prayers. I know how hard it is to wait for news, so I just wanted to say that we are thinking about you and hoping for the best results. Take care of yourself and know you have prayers being said.

You can watch pricing for the cruise and if your category goes down in price call your TA and see where they can move you. That is what we do and it makes sense to us when our category room has gone down in price. However, unlike booking a guarantee which is a "roll of dice" we still get to choose our stateroom.

 

More work on us I guess but then we can control our "upgrade."

I just tried to book using my iPad and it seemed a little quicker, but now it is asking me for my credit card information for a zero balance.

Actually no credit card is required, just click submit and it will save it, but your balance will be zero. You only need your credit card when booking specialty restaurants.

Entertainment Reservations - Royal says NO

 

I see here that people are making entertainment reservations. On my cruise planner it says I can not, but others are. When I called RCI they told me you CAN NOT make reservations for entertainment on the Qauntum, you can only do that on the Oasis and the Allure. I told them people on cruise critic said they were making them on line for the Quantum. She said, and I qoute "people lie".

I called back 2 more times, and both agents said that you can not make entertainment reservations for the Quantum on line.

 

Can someone who made reservations, please help me with this??

I was able to make reservations around 2-3 am for dinner and entertainment. Also, I am not a liar...lol. We are reserved for Mamma Mia and Entertainer.

I am hoping that more times open up tomorrow. I am having trouble finding times that work with little kids. And the site is painfully slow. I keep getting hung up and then I can't pull up both rooms, it says that one is currently being modified, so I can't do anything.

 

This is worse than having to booking Disney 180 days out.

You won't have any problems if you try to reserve times after 2am. I have all my reservations completed and it was very fast during those early morning hours.

Doing great! Friday is my last treatment and now I am getting all excited about cruising on the Quantum!!!

You know, I understood the OP wanted at least a partial refund. If all it is loyalty points that they are asking he is right, RCI is being jerky. They got the money, small price to pay.

I agree!

I had to cancel our cruise because of being diagnosed with breast cancer. My full refund hit my credit card in about 3 days. I was also refunded our airfare because they had a time change and the agent said it was my "lucky" day because I didn't agree with the time change, and all of the airfare was refunded as well.
