I love pumpkin pie .Toby bakes two every year for our family Thanksgiving dinner. This year will be a special year because a cousin who everyone in my family and extended family lost touch with surprised us all by inviting herself .
I was in Radio City Music Hall the night that I saw the ball come down to welcome 1963.Everyone who was there was given a souveneir program which I still have.
In my opinion the best ever Christmas displays were in Dyker Heights Brooklyn.People come from as far as Ct.The second best is in Canarsie,Brooklyn. Both can be viewed on You Tube.
I worked in Manhattan 45 years .The crowds never bothered me.I used to post on a Music message board. One year those of us living in NY,NJ and CT. met at Rockefeller Plaza and then went to dinner. We had no problem finding each other.
Even though I have lived in NY all my life I never tired of Manhattan during the Christmas Holiday.Fifth Avenue from 42 St.to 57 St.is absolutely beautiful.
