You took the words out of my mouth regarding Crown grill on Discovery this past november! My husband and I had a steak and it was tasteless with no seasoning. I thought it was a joke and looked around for the cameras! Best meal was Sabatinis so we went twice. The best steak was in the regular dining room for lunch on a sea day! Utter perfection! They got it right but Crown Grill could not! Jeeze!

Now thats a side of bacon!!! 👍😀

Now I'm looking forward to my cruise come next weekend! Happy to see you had a wonderful time! 😊

My father always said.....any and all salesmen are not your friend and this includes all cruiselines! They are not out to do you any favors or look out for your best interest! They are only out for their bottom line $$$. It doesn't matter what level you are at......you are not besties! 👍

So true.....I have no faves either. I am looking for the best deal all around.....even itinerary is not a #1 issue. Every cruiseline has it stuff that is not cared for. The only cruiseline I somewhat avoid is one that would attract lots of kids. But in my ballpark we go on cruises that aren't in summer vacay or holiday times!

I always got what I needed in regards to write-ins and never saw anyone to be treated rudely. But then again I never wrote in belgian waffles lightly toasted with clotted cream and organic field wild strawberries only. 😆😜

Let this posting be a warning to all to avoid this upsell tactic with princess. Do not hand over your credit card to anyone including princess when onboard or otherwise. Sounds like you will have a mess to deal with if you do!

That there premium package is worth its weight in gold or top shelf hooch to say the least 😉

We didn't use the medallion app until onboard. Went on princess app to do what is needed before our cruise. We downloaded the medallion app on our phones to have it ready to go and to see how many days left until our cruise. Once onboard and we check in we are ready to go. We had no problems with the medallion not even once when we sailed last november.

When we cruised on Discovery last november they told us that Monterey would not be a stop because of high winds🫤. They told us the day we were supposed to dock so they did a slooowwww sail from Frisco! Kind of irritaring! Not even a catalina offering!

We were on Discovery this past november and formal night was more of an optional attire. People were more smart casual and maybe a step down from that. I was more casual and threw on a string of pearls and I'm in! My husband was a nice button down shirt with slacks. We saw suits but no tuxes. It has truly gotten alot more casual. Do as you please kinda vibe.

I also choose a cabin thats not too far from laundry room.

We do our own laundry every other day early in the morning while waiting for our coffee. Get laundry sheets for ez packing on amazon and it is an easy task. It takes almost 2 days to get laundry back from their services.

I think reps are told to say formal on formal nights and no shorts.

My husband and I plan it with our agent through the cruiseline. I want whats easier for me straight out the gate. I don't want to call or plan or look for an uber or a taxi.
