Its actually very easy and cheap to do your own transfers in Venice.

7 euro bus ride to the airport - buy your ticket from the machine in the baggage halls by the carousel, while you wait for you luggage to appear.

1 mins walk from the bus station to the the people mover - 1 euro ticket to the next stop and a 2 minute walk to the ships.

And vice verser - 16 euro transfer and no waiting for the ships bus to fill up before it leaves.

The electronics inside them could cause a spark and ignite oxygen. Not safe at all on flights with this above your head..

Another cost cutting exercise.

Had one on the INDIE last year. No noise, same as an inside/outside cabin, with a lot more light than an inside and cheaper than an outside....

Some of these prices are higher than onboard the Mariner last week!

A pressed pair of Dockers and a good quality polo shirt will suffice on any night, despite the supposed "intent of the evening". If you look neat and behave yourself, you will have no problems nor will you feel out of place.

Towel animals are old fashioned, rubbish and a money making venture.

On our last cruise, the cabin a few door from us had their door decorated.

With photos from previous cruises, etc. It made me cringe every time I walked past it.

Why do people thing that everyone wants to see their holiday photos?

I cannot understand why you are complaining about being charged for excess weight? If you know the limit is 15/20/25/30K and you have not bothered to weigh your cases or pack properly, you have NO cause to complain.

1. Weigh your suitcases. Some modern hard shell cases are up towards 5 kilo empty. Invest in lightweight one's if you travel or cruise a lot.

2. As some decent trsvel sites say; Lay all the the clothes you think you will need on the bed and take away 50%

On one particular cruise line.. I looked under the bed to see if it had all been cleaned properly and there was a notice saying...YES, we do clean under here!

Was looking forward to it, but was dissapointed with the show. No real depth to the show, didn't see a great deal of anything - the biggest item was the fat guys jumping into the pool???? The trips glossed over without showing much of anything. And Merton just embarrassing himself all the time.

A different presenter would have made so much more of the preogramme.

Not a patch on his previous travel shows.
