That should work, I've done that one time and went to Chops after I boarded and everything was sorted within a few minutes. My bogo was day 1 and my husband's day 2 and then we used the dining package and went to Solarium bistro one evening. 

BOGO is for first OR second night, so only two not four. If you have the 3  night dining package I believe  that you don't have to use it on the first night if you are using the diamond + bogo.

Looking forward to this review Sid.  I'll probably have to binge read it after the cruise as I'm sailing Odyssey of the Seas on Sunday ( as long as my covid test on Friday is negative-is that a pass or a fail???)

I got my booster shot at CVS a couple of weeks ago, had originally scheduled for Walgreens but when i went for the appointment they would not give the shot as I am not immunocompromised. My husband's physician recommended that  I get a booster as he has multiple medical issues and I am  his caregiver. I would be able to get it now if following the new guidelines.

It seems the booster shot guidelines are being changed daily!!

that is exactly what the app shows for my Decmber11th cruise, I have 3 cruises prior to that one and I get a date the check in will open.

I had been able to check in on all cruises and had chosen arrival times , scanned passport and taken photo and info was on the app until yesterday. 

Interesting I just clicked on OK and now it says check in opens October 27th!! Royal IT must be working this weekend.

The app shows new dates for checking in, maybe everyone will have to check in on those dates. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

I  had logged in to all my upcoming  cruises for the year and had chosen boarding  times. Yesterday  I  noticed on the app  that the cruises in November  and December  no longer showed me logged  in and were not available to log in. Hopefully  I  won't  have to repeat  everything  I  had already  done.

Yes, I was able to use my boarding pass on my phone to get my traditional glass of prosecco at lunch even before I was able to get my seapass.

We were on Freedom last month   and our usual wine and water was in the stateroom  when we arrived. The vouchers worked great for us. The coffee machine  in Diamond  Club was available  certain  hours of the day with a staff member  dispensing  the coffee. Hopefully  the vouchers  will stay as they are now.

I was on this sailing also, thought the staff were very helpful and felt the protocols were followed well. 

You really captured the essence  of the ship with your photos.

I was at Coco Cay Jan 2020 and the improvements and landscaping growth were very impressive.

Glad you were able to enjoy some of the Diamond benefits,  I always pack a champagne stopper to keep my prosecco bubbly!!

we were on Freedom last week, had 1:00 check in, got there at 1:25 long line off to the side of people who had arrived early. Easy check in for us despite some in the crowd yelling that its time for us to board NOW!!. I guess at least in the short term arrival times are being enforced.

The app is not yet foolproof. I'm being pinged to attend safety briefing for the last hour. on Freedom today. Only problem is I'm going on Friday!!!

At least I know how it should work on Friday, if I am allowed to sail Friday!!

Confirmation  received for my Freedom  cruise in July.

Got my updated Freedom changes today, had to make a call as they has "upgraded" me and the new stateroom would not work for us. Finally got it sorted. No info yet if I will be getting a partial refund, I did take a screenshot of todays prices which are less but we will see. Hopefully I'll be cruising in July!!

Odyssey arrived at her home port this morning, looking good!

Got my Odyssey for October assignment but not my Navigator to Freedom for July yet. Obviously not doing re-assignments in chronological order.  

I wish I had got my updated Freedom cruise, I'm still showing Navigator!! And i got an email confirmation for navigator yesterday. It's frustrating talking to anyone at Royal as I keep being given differing dates for the transfer.

Hope I get to go on Freedom.

I heard about 20 minutes ago from my nieces that their Mother passed away last night just before midnight.  She went to be with those babies I'm betting.  The girls were notified ahead of time and made it to the hospice in time to be with her.  

 

My DS is finally at peace and with her loved ones in heaven.

Us too, its only 10 minutes closer from home but always seems much easier to get too. If we have to drive we use Park and Go which is better and cheaper than port of Miami.

We got switched to Odyssey for our October cruise also. As its the only class I haven't been on yet I'm not complaining! As its a new ship should not be an issue with cabin assignment.

My other two cruises this year also have ship changes so hopefully those will also work out OK as I had chosen cabins in a specific area on those also.

Bummer, all three of my upcoming cruises are impacted, hopefully in a couple of days I can get them reorganized.

I have  one scheduled  for July  from Miami  and received  the survey  this morning. It seemed  that  they were trying  to  evaluate  the expectations  of cruisers.
