  1. Apparently you are not up to date and quoting very old cancellation policies.
  2. What do you not understand that you are totally incorrect. I have cruising since 1994. For the past 11 years doing 4-6 a year. I think I know about cancelling a cruise. Because of the Covid19 you can cancel up to the day before your cruise. Attaching the Trip cancellation interruption exclusions. Common sense exclusions. I had to cancel 3 fully paid cruises 1 from last year. November 2021 and two from this year. January and April. When I found out I had cancer in order to get treatments. Never lost a penny. Carnival, Princess and Royal cruise.
  3. Get the roll and take it up with you to the Windjammer.
  4. I really have no idea how to clarify this. I could care less about any restrictions at all using my travel insurance from the charge card. If I cannot go on the cruise I will simply cancel it. What do you not understand about this? I would have no need whatsoever to use the insurance.
  5. My wife and I grew up in Buffalo. Moved to Florida in 72. Now I agree, the best is available in Buffalo. Only one major problem. No cruise ship that I know of docks in Buffalo on lake Erie.😊 On the Harmony, is there a charge for the sandwich at the Park Café?
  6. 60 not 90. You are getting confused with using the insurance and not using the insurance. I would have no reason to tell anyone if I cancel a cruise. No reason is required to cancel a cruise. Let's get real. No I would not book a cruise if I thought I would need to cancel it. I book a cruise many months or even a year before in order to get a good price and the cabin we want. I have no way of knowing if I would need to cancel. I am not telling anyone to get the Bank of America card. Just a suggestion to look into it. It might be perfect or not. Again, it is perfect for me and my wife, maybe not for someone else. I was able to get an email of the fine print and all the exclusions. All are very logical. I have no problem with any of them because most do not pertain to what I need this insurance for. Many cover auto rental, flying, purchases and alike.
  7. Anyone that would consider getting the card should look into it fully before getting it. That would be for ANY travel insurance. Really goes without saying it is up to the individual to read the fine print.
  8. Again, I can always cancel and get a refund. Not a problem for me at all.
  9. Is that not what I said? Within 3 months of traveling is the same.
  10. You are correct. Found it. Pre existing conditions within 3 months of traveling. Yes I have cancer. If the cancer causes me not to take the cruise during the 3 months the insurance will not cover it. However. I can cancel the cruise. So it really does not make any difference.
  11. Look, I read everything I have from Bank of America about the insurance coverage and nothing has anything about pre existing conditions. As I said. it is perfect for us and very happy with it. I had to use it once and it was flawless and prompt.
  12. I did read it. What you are saying is not there.
  13. Go look at #11, I put everything there for anyone to read. There are no other acceptations on my sheet from Bank of America
  14. Well as I said. it is great for us. Certainly not for everyone.
  15. First I think if you have your 3 shots you have 3 days. Leaving Sunday you can get your test on Friday. that is two days. Friday over Saturday. Saturday over Sunday. Two days.
  16. I have just read and reread the coverage. Nothing at all is mentioned about pre existing conditions
  17. Bank of America premium rewards card. Not the Travel card.
  18. Pretty much covers it. Trip delay Provides up to $500 per ticket purchased for you and your eligible family members for reasonable expenses if a covered trip is delayed (due to a covered hazard) for more than 12 hours. Trip Cancellation/Interruption Provides reimbursement of up to $5,000 per person, per trip, for the unused prepaid non-refundable travel expenses including passenger fares, tours, and hotels if you have to cancel due to a covered reason. Baggage Delay Provides reimbursement of up to $100 per day (up to five days), when your bags are delayed or misdirected by a common carrier for more than six hours for essential items including clothing. Coverage is secondary to the common carrier. Lost Luggage Reimbursement Provides you coverage for luggage and its contents if they are lost or stolen due to theft or misdirection by the common carrier (airline, bus, train, cruise ship). Common Carrier Travel Accident Insurance Provides you coverage against accidental loss of life, limb, or sight while traveling by land, air, or sea on a licensed common carrier, when you purchase tickets using your card.
  19. So what? I would cancel in advance if my cancer would prevent me from a cruise. Why are you making my situation your business? I really do not need any advise. What does my situation have to do with great coverage via BoA charge card. You do know not everybody has cancer or a pre existing conditions, don't you? No matter. Where did you see this information. I read my coverage and nothing about pre existing conditions is mentioned at all.
  20. Now you are talking about a totally different subject. I really do not care about charge card medical coverage. I do not need that. Others may and need to check on whatever insurance they intend to use.
  21. When I had catastrophic State Fam insurance I had to pay the first $5000.00 before they covered anything. there was a one mill limit. Then no more coverage. Not with Humana. Totally different type of coverage.
  22. I have had Humana for over 11 years now. No pre existing condition when I got it and no limit that I can find. I looked before I replied.
  23. If it does you will be notified many different ways. You always set you time to the ships time. Not to worry.
  24. No. However you might ask them not to dry your laundry and hang them in the shower. I really do not think they will do that. many wash there own in the sink.
  25. Just off of the Liberty. Biodegradable straws or none at all offered. They degrade fast. Terrible. What ever happened to the waxed paper straws that we had many years ago before plastic took over? Never a problem.
