  1. Yesterday I read that Carnival and Royal are waiting on CDC clarification before deciding what to do next.
  2. What I read today Carnival and Royal are going to wait for further confirmation from the CDC before acting on it.
  3. When available we always get the iPad bingo. However, I just saw were it is now $69.00 to play. Plus no more Bingo where the ice rink is but in the Theater now. If it is, I like that a lot better.
  4. If you book an excursion on line. Most of the time there is a discount. So booking onboard would cost more. You can use it for anything you want. casino, ships store, bingo, added tips etc.
  5. That is one reason why I use a TA. She keeps excellent records of each booking.
  6. We do not mind at all getting the covid test prior to boarding. What we are afraid of is testing positive and not being able to take the cruise.
  7. If you and your wife are both doing your 25th on the expensive cruise. You both can get the 25% Let's say you paid $1500.00 each Just the basic cost before port and tax.. With both claiming the 25% you will get a total of $750.00 OBC $375.00 for you and another $375.00 for your wife.
  8. Immediately when the current cruise ended. We do 4-6 a year and cannot wait for the next one.
  9. Replying to paper straws. Other paper products end up on the tray and are assorted into one pile before the dishes are taken to be washed. That is what I see in the buffet. I do not see a problem, I do not see any delays. On some ships the one that cleans the table tosses trash in the proper containers before the dishes are taken to be washed.
  10. I say call because on our 25th I had no idea about a Milestone OBC. The bar tender congratulated us and ask if we got out OBC. He then explained what it was. We went to Guest services and they applied the 25% of the cost of my cruise to the OBC. So it was applied on the 25th cruise. Do not know if they would do it now.
  11. We just did our 50th and I called. They want you to call 30 days or longer in advance before you take your cruise. If the both of you are eligible you can both apply for that cruise or just one take it now and the other take it on a different cruise. I suggest you call. You might get a different answer. 12. I really see no problem with assorting them to the proper trash container. Bartenders it would not be a problem. Table cleaners not a problem either. Napkins, silverware, cups, glasses need to be separated. Just toss the straws in the proper container. Same with soda cans also.
  13. Smoke free is a big, big health advantage for everyone. I am 76 and started smoking at the age of 16. I quit when I was 30. So 46 years of no smoking. Only 14 years of a pack a day. Well I have lower lung emphysema. So to never smoke. Stay out of second hand smoke. Which is just about impossible to do.
  14. Got it. Thanks. However far better than the paper ones they are using now. Those thick ones they are using are they considered food waste?
  15. I already asked this. No reply. Why not go back to the wax covered paper straws from years ago.
  16. Do not know if this was already posted. It covers everything from the CDC. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/cruise-travel-during-covid19.html#faq
  17. So sorry. I was thinking about the stock OBC
  18. Even if both in the cabin are veterans. You should only receive the OBC for one. It is per cabin.
  19. Just now July 18 2022 The CDC is giving the cruises lines full control of what they want to do. Masks no masks, pre cruise testing etc. The CDC still recommends masks indoors. Really?
  20. If you are referring to me you were not helping at all. I said over and over that the insurance was perfect for me. No need at all for you to give incorrect information on cancelling a cruise. read and get up to date before you give advise. I am done replying to this nonsense.
