AWWWWW! That renews my faith in the kindness of mankind. We have all been there as parents! As we age we forget children are all just children. They all get tired, push boundaries & make us want to pull our hair out at times. All of us need to remember those days & try to be helpful with kindness instead of shaming judgement. JMHO;) Try to cut yourself some slack & enjoy the rest of your cruise! Make precious memories. For it will all be a memory sooner than you think.

I'm glad you are having such good weather! We are planning to forgo formal night as well. That is the reason I asked. I need to make a dinner reservation today. Thank you for your help! Enjoy the rest of your cruise!!

It's so much fun reliving it all through this review! You have the sweetest family & we really enjoyed watching y'all on the ship. You're right, Priscilla was the superstar of the ship! She is soooo cute & just as well behaved! Both of your girls are even prettier in person! Thank you for doing this review. I agree it was a wonderful week with a wonderful crew. We will really miss her in NO! She has always been one of my favorites & like you, I love the mega ships. But there is something so charming about the Serenade & I just love her crew! I've NEVER had bad service on board her. We even had a small issue with the A/C for the first two days. (which turned out to be another thermostat with the heat turned all the way up:rolleyes:) But they brought us a fan & let us keep it the entire week. They even gave us a 15% discount on our next cruise for our inconvenience! I was shocked! It really was not a big deal but everyone was soooo helpful! I board the Liberty in two weeks for the first time & I hope the crew is as wonderful. Although I've never been on a bad cruise!;) Maybe not perfect but certainly not bad! But I believe vacation is a state of mind & I'm there to have a good time. Hope your travel home was uneventful & you all are doing well. Maybe our travel paths will cross again in the future.

Glad to hear! We board in 2 weeks!! I'm looking forward to the shows as well. These will all be new for me! I'm excited to see new ones after seeing the same ones over & over.

Aaaaah... 15 days until I too can awake to a beautiful ocean sunrise! Nothing compares to the beauty! Watching this is getting me so excited for my short little 4 days on the Liberty! I think the sunrises from your balcony with a cup of coffee might just be my favorite part of the day on board! Thanks again for taking us along. Watching this is definitely my favorite part of the day at home!;)

Thanks NightOne for taking your time to share your opinions. We sailed that week also. We found the crew & ship to be wonderful! Carly B may not have been the best but I have experienced much worse. I too was at M&M & thought it was nice. There was a small crowd but I thought she engaged everyone nicely. Maybe my expectations are different but I find the crew to be VERY nice on the Serenade! But my goal on vacation is to have fun & I usually manage to do just that. This was no exception. JMHO

40-50 days out. Where it says "Set Sail Pass" & "Cruise Documents" there will be a print option when they are ready. It is as simple as doing just that. Sign & you'll be ready to go. Hope you enjoy your cruise! If this is your first Alaskan cruise you're going to LOVE it! Happy sailing!

Robyn- Thank you soooo much for taking us all along this week! Taking time to do a live thread is so thoughtful & we all do appreciate it! This week in particular has been wonderful, considering half of North America has been snow covered. This thread has kept us all warm just thinking of what we all have to look forward to on our next cruise. I hope your travel home is safe & uneventful!

We are not big drinkers at home but when we are on vacation... We enjoy our libations!:p We have spent as much as $1000 on alcohol.:o So we purchase the Ultimate Package.:D
