  1. Yes, I can see info there. It's a codeshare flight marketed by American and operated by Iberia for the main leg from Mad to Mia. Then American MIa to Tpa. The Iberia says 2 check bags included, but none for the connection from Mia to Tpa. I assume it's ticked via American, but Iberia luggage rules apply? What about the connection? That should be the same luggage allowance right? I don't expect you all to answer that, but this is what I'm trying to make sure of.
  2. Thanks. Yes I know all that but it's really just the itinerary. I'm looking for details like ticketing airline, fare codes, class of service, maybe even luggage allowance. Flightease resent their email, but it's that same information. I guess you lose some detail when you book through a third party like Flightease.
  3. After some issues with my flight being cancelled and rebooked to new itinerary, the HAL flights page says ticketed and I can view ETicket numbers. However, is there any way to get details regarding the ticket such as fare codes, ticketing airline, etc? The itinerary has one codeshare flight marketed by American but operated by Iberia from Madrid to Miami. I'm finding it very difficult to know the exact included baggage info. I chatted with American to see if they could provide any ticket details, but they said since it was through an agent I had to contact them. Thus I'm holding on with Flightease via HAL now.
  4. Thanks for confirming. I guess it's all in the family.
  5. Sailing in 12 days. Tried yesterday and again today to view the flights. When I click on Book and Manage flights I get a screen saying: we're having technical difficulties We apologize for any inconvenience and will be back shortly. Are you getting this too? Maybe we're too close to sailing to get to this? Yes I know I can view the flights on the airline side. Just wanted to check through HAL.
  6. Thanks for the update. Hoping if you get a questionnaire for the cruise that you mention the lack of the 50% off drinks.
  7. we were hoping you'd get this all rectified before we board the TA on the 8th. Have you determined the stingy 25% is it off all drinks, or just the second drink when you buy two together?
  8. What ship? What time did you attempt to eat in the MDR where you saw the seemingly endless lines of people waiting? Were you not willing to wait at all?
  9. We did the AARP gift cards and yes, as others said, provide the info to your TA as the payment must go through them. You can also apply them to your onboard account, which essentially gives you a 10% discount on everything you do onboard.
  10. Excellent strategy! Sailing from there April 8th! Wonder if they'd notice beer lol.
  11. Thanks for reporting back. What port did you sail from?
  12. Real, thank you for starting this thread and advocating for a better happy hour on the NS. With our Transatlantic coming in 3 short weeks, we were hoping to take advantage of BOGO or half price drinks during happy hours.
  13. This stinks. We were looking forward to decent happy hours.
  14. This! I seem to forget this when mostly what I find is very good information about what's going on on various cruise lines. We haven't been extremely loyal to any one cruise line, so I continue to peruse many boards. Lately I'm spending more time on the HAL boards due to our TA coming up, and they take that name to heart and it's very negative. I've learned how to "Ignore" certain posters.
  15. Can you tell me what the Happy Hours are on your cruise from the daily program? I've seen different offers now from Bogo, 1/2 off 2nd and now 20% off second. Thank you!
  16. The question I posted was not meant to start a thread regarding the philosophy of tipping. It was a yes or no question as to whether tips are charged on the onboard account on cruises out of Australia. Maybe I wasn't specific enough I'm merely pricing out options, and the service charges are a significant part of a cruise's cost.
  17. This appears to be contrary to what the others have said here.
  18. Can't wait for the next $1 deposit sale!
  19. We had several changes on our Transatlantic flight from Madrid back to Florida. We kept getting the same message about the changes and that FE would update soon. Well, it didn't and next thing you know our flights had been cancelled supposedly by American for non-payment. Not sure what caused this, but you really need to keep an eye on the flights on the airline side. Don't wait for HAL to notify you, because that takes much longer, if they do. We eventually got new flights at our original price, but not without a huge hassle.
  20. Did a quick search and didn't find prior threads. Does Carnival still not charge gratuities on Australian itineraries? I did find this: https://help.carnival.com.au/app/answers/detail/a_id/80/session/L3RpbWUvMTY3Nzk2MDUyNi9zaWQvZlVJcHlyUURTM0pmSG03UlVrVDVFSjNKSEN3UENTTjJ6SnRGelMzQ0hHUkszU09RNWRrdERLQzdwdzhPM3pQTjlUTlQ2UkJ0d0VmS1RoeWtVbXg4cDJNNSU3RUE1OWdjSlA3JTdFaWNFempaJTdFQWt5azd5enN6X2poQTZBJTIxJTIx
