That's a good plan B. It's unfortunate, though, that for the amount paid for HIA, one has to go to these lengths when milkshakes are right there.
I assume, from your suggestion, that there is self serve soft ice cream. The grand-kids will love that!
In my opinion, they should treat the children to many extras (even provide coupons to control the inventory)... Great way to get loyalty when they become adults.

I love my one STRONG coffee of the day. I cannot stand the coffee in the Lido - but because i also only have one double espresso each morning, its cheaper for me to get it at the Crow's Nest (or if your on the Rotterdam, the Dutch Cafe has good coffee too) we don't buy the package as the hubby doesn't drink coffee.
I may end up doing the same….at least on sea days. Then having a nice cafe latte when we go to port.

I went to @Nickelpenny profile and clicked on her badge. Hers was for a Holiday Sharing… which I guess explains the use of the gingerbread man. Mine are for live reviews, although not all of my lives were included so it’s anyone’s guess why only certain ones are chosen.
If you go to this thread it will explain the different badges:
thank you so very much for your explanation and for the thread you provided. My curiosity got the best of me.

Every cabin has at least 2.
Thank you. I see that you too have a rare commendation on your user profile. I still wonder what that means.

Do we get white robes in our cabin, or can we ask for one, or do I have to bring my own.

The Dive-In is located a few feet from the indoor pool and provides window take-out service (trays). Dive In Menu There are lots of tables nearby to eat or you can take your tray of food back to your stateroom. The nearby tables have stewards offering free iced tea, lemonade, and ice water. In addition, bar servers from the pool bar (a one minute walk away) will take drink orders. Pool Bars Menu

Hi Crew News.... I noticed on your user id you have a tiny "Rare". I also noticed that someone else had that. How did you get that commendation. I also love this picture and the menus you added to this post.

Not correct. The outlet in the bathroom can be used for shavers, tooth brushes, and Water Pics.
Thank you. Back in the suit case it goes.

There is a dispenser in your shower that will dispense the big three...all in separate dispensers.....shampoo, conditioner and body wash......unlimited supply.
The brand is Elemis. It's from the UK. Not cheap. Her Majesty loves it and Santa has been known to put some of the Elemis products under the xmas tree.
thank you. One less thing to pack. LOL

Question: Is there conditioner in the room? Sometimes they have a conditioning shampoo. I am looking for stand alone conditioner. Thank you in advance.

@terrydtx Dive In does not have tacos. See menu posted by @Crew News

Just another question, on the pdf with all drinks included in the drink packages, it says the drink packages can’t be used at Dive In. I haven’t read this in other places (it doesn’t say that on HAL’s website for example). Is this true? If so, is there another place around the pool/sun deck where you can order drinks?
What is Dive In?

We consider the lido/MDR/room service coffee to be strong and yes, hot.
(We enjoy the no surcharge coffee onboard)
Just now, ONCRUISEMODE said:Thats the way Celebrity is. I guess they want to sell the coffee from the Coffee Barista.
I guess time will tell. But i have a feeling it will not be strong enough for our taste.

Not strong at all, I have to get my coffee from the Lido specialty coffee. Some days the Lido coffee is almost like dishwater in strength. I always have a drinks package so I get the specialty coffee for free.
Thats the way Celebrity is. I guess they want to sell the coffee from the Coffee Barista.

The outlet in the bathroom is for shavers only. I know I can’t use my hair dryer when plugged in it. Are you sure a waterpick can be used? I didn’t use it for my electric toothbrush out of caution. Also because the plug was near the ceiling.
After you very informative comment, we decided not to take it. thank you.

You can go to the Lido and get a cup of coffee (available 24/7) or do what I do, which is bring a thermos (mine weighs less than 1 pound), fill it up at night just before bed, then when I wake I can either drink it on my verandah or wherever I wish (bathroom, sitting on sofa or...) without disturbing hubby.

Questions about the coffee: We love strong, hot coffee. How is the coffie on the Lido? I know I can buy it from their coffee counter for a price but its about $6 per day for 30 days. Please advise.

Due to the limited counter space in the cabin, I bring a travel waterpick. It's rechargeable, so I just use the outlets on the desk area. Plus, it doesn't take up as much space in my luggage.
Very good idea.... thank you.

No. But the laundry service (by the bag or unlimited) is reasonably priced and is excellent.
Just now, Nickelpenny said:No. No HAL ships have a self laundry. Their laundry service is superb. You can send it off by the bag and tons of clothes fit in it. ~$20 to $30 bag depending on the ship.
Thank you. I barely submitted my question. Thanks for being so diligent.
