  1. Well at least it is controlled somewhat. I was concerned it would take away from the special YC experience.

I agree Cruiser, but the One Pool and Bar, and especially the Top Sail lounge have been quite quiet. I can count on one hand the amount of people in the Top Sail lounge each morning, afternoon, and evening. The One Pool has been busy, but one would definitely be able to find a lounger or a table at the One Bar without any problems. Our butler Johnny told us that he is responsible for the 10 suites across the front of the ship, 16009 - 16010. He told us that 3 of them are vacant so the junior butler (Deve) has been servicing the staterooms while our butler is serving double duty up at the One Bar during the day.

  2. Wow! Nice lens. And nice pics.

I am glad you are enjoying this trip.

Do you feel that Divina has an international feel? We enjoyed this on Poesia. Is crowd mostly American or international?

Tatka,,the mix seems to be about a 60% International, to 40% American. We met a family from Manchester and spent the day with them in St. Maartin today. Dave, was in the Royal Navy, and his wife Sue was a special assistant to the Royal Family for a little while, as well as Princess Diana three days prior to her marriage to Prince Charles. Absolutely lovely family!!!!

  3. They didn't really publicize it last week. Have you seen any mention of it in the Dailys?

They don't advertise it in the Daily's. It is a courtesy which is extended to existing Yacht Club members so they can invite friends or family to enjoy the Yacht Club for the day.

  4. Wow Mike.....in March there was still beach there I wondered what happened....we will check out the other beaches too in case of the seaweed issue........we have never encountered it before, but maybe that storm system stirred up some problems...although I thought it was way north of St. Maarten.....sorry your day wasn't everything you hoped it would be..............so question....which was more fun the take off or landing?....

KLM was massive!!!!! The "rocks" were packed with people,,and after a few Carib beers,,,we didn't have a care in the world afterward. Standing behind KLM before take off was INTENSE!!! but when Air Capo took off,,he throttled up the engines and held the brake for what seemed 5 minutes before he released himself down the runway. I would say the takeoffs are definitely more intense though,,,nothing can prepare you for that kind of intense thrust and heat!!

  5. Hi Mike,

If you happen by the Nutella stand, would you see if those giant jars (I've seen in pics) are for sale, please?:D

    Thank you!

    Michelle :)

I'll stop by the there tomorrow and find out for you Michelle,,,,they had a special yesterday,,buy one Nutella crepe or milkshake and get one free,,,,,still looking for those happy hour special that were mentioned as well,,,haven't come across one yet, but I'm still keeping an eye out for them.

  6. Good evening everyone!!! Had a great day in St. Maartin. Aussie,,,Maho beach is completely washed away,,only big rocks are left,,very disappointed when we arrived there today but still managed to catch a few planes,,KLM!!!!! and ride the fence when KLM took off in the afternoon. We were told that Orient is full of seaweed right now, and suggested going there wouldn't be worth the trip. Going to find out if anyone had gone there to get their take. White Party tonight. $4.00 pina colodas in a carved out pineapple ;););)

  7. Thank you so much Mike but there is no hurry for the photo's there is plenty time upload them once your home. Enjoy your cruise.

tigger,,my favorite butler Johnny is only here till September 27th,:(:(:(:(We are upset that he may not be onboard when we sail again in January. Your Butlers name is Bruce,,I will get his full name as well as his country for you. I will find the butlers name for 15031 tomorrow.:) I'm trying to get some pics of one if the rooms for you,,but haven't had an opportunity to get a walk by pic while their cleaning the room.

  8. Good evening folks from the most beautiful Divina!!! I went to see a preview of the new show that will be introduced soon. I'm not an opera aficionado, but my cousin is and she thought the presentation was incredible!!! The new show will be called "Love Me" "as much as I love you",,music from the opera "La Traviata". She has seen the opera in New York City and London, and felt the interpretation was incredible. She left the theatre with tears in her eyes so it must have been pretty good.

  9. Thanks for your review we are booked for a b2b in the yacht club in just over 5 weeks and really looking forward to it and after your review even more excited.

tigger89,,we are currently in a YC3 on Divina this week and so far the service and food has been nothing short of extraordinary!!! Our cousins and nephew who are sailing with us, were not staying in the Yacht Club, but since they were traveling with us,,they were invited to check-in with us in the Yacht Club area,,a great little touch to begin our vacation!!! I have the pics of all 5 of your staterooms by the way,,,will upload tomorrow when I'm not on the ship's wi-fi...

  10. Heading off to the Captain's Cocktail Party at 11:00am,,,We'll be in St. Maaartin in the morning and I'll upload a bunch of pics for you all. Moo,,,I have your Yacht Club Bar Menu,,Aussie,,Hope to have lots of Orient and Maho pics as well. We're heading to Maho Beach first to watch KLM land at 11:15 and then Orient. Stay tuned folks, for my run in with TSA before boarding and if I was able to bring 1/2 gallon of Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix onboard.

  11. Thank You all for being so patient. Weather has been an issue the past two days so internet was off and on. We have a clear day today but veeeeeery windy. I have close to 500 pics just in the 2 days we have been onboard an will start posting them soon. For anyone interested in having a Mani-Pedi done while on the ship,,,they do not have the staff onboard,,Kim called to make an appointment and was told they are not offering that service. I'm hoping it's just for this sailing and not future ones.

MARYANN2 & JOYCE&BOB,,,Villa Rossa is open for lunch between 12:00 noon and 2:00pm,,,we boarded a little late so I was able to make it over there just to confirm for you. Sorry no menu's:(:(.

  12. Wishing you "Bon Voyage". Have a wonderful trip.
