We used Meadway cars from Marriott Grosvenor Square to Southampton, City Terminal, in October. It was pricey, about £230 for a vehicle that sat 7 plus luggage which we shared with another couple we found on the cc roll call. No interest in schlepping luggage on the train. Would've needed a cab to the train and then to hotel. Told it was a commuter train and no real luggage storage. Also used them from LHR to hotel.
Would not accept this. You picked a cabin not a gty. The 1st email indicated you were keeping your cab8n. I'd start by calling and remind them. Good luck. Btw a gty is usually less expensive than choosing your cabin.
We've sailed all the Radiance class ships. Most recently Jewel. Sailed Radiance in 2020 just before the world shut down and can't remember if the rear of Windjammer is outside as it is on Jewel. The deck plans aren't clear. Really enjoyed lunch out there (breakfast also weather permitting). Can someone confirm whether the outdoor area is still there. Thanks.
We're D+ so I know about bogo but not sure if it's available for Diamond members. I don't think the friends we are traveling with in September are D+, think just Diamond.
Thanks. Our next cruise is with 2 other couples and not sure if the other couples are eligible for bogo. Might do it for our canal transit. Already booked Chef's table at a small discount for day 2 on that cruise so only can book a bogo for day 1 if tryimg it in advance. Will see.
Good! Can you book for day 1 or 2 and then change the date when you arrive, or can you book for another day for 1 and then bring 2? Usually upon boarding we stop at a restaurant and make our bogo reservations for whatever day we want, pay for one. And what about booking when there is a sale, can you pay for 1, then 2 eat?
Good to know. Don't remember the food on the Empress but when we sailed her she was still the Nordic Empress. 1st ship with passengers in NY after 9/11. May 2002. Dh says we had great curry thanks to the British friends we were traveling with.
