  1. Agree. Still they may question him, though doubt it.
  2. Yes. When you order they take your seapass card and you get a receipt that will show the tally. If I think I'm going to go over my alottment and ordering a soda or other less expensive item I'll ask for them to charge it.
  3. You czn pick your time and do the rest later. No problem.
  4. If you're talking about a taxi from disembarking ship to Southampton central train station, while you could do it but dragging luggage would make it seem longer than it is. I vote for taxi. Not sure about the rest of your trip. We had a car service from Southampton to Heathrow and on a recent trip car service from London hotel to Southampton.
  5. The cabin attendant will also bring you wine glasses. Dh has one the openers they give you in his backpack. Not great but works.
  6. Many, many years ago, cleaning out the safe at the end of a cruise, I put my hand inside (there was a lip on the front edge so you couldn't completely see inside) and felt around to make sure we hadn't left anything and I found a Canadian passport. Took it right to guest services. This was mid 1980s when I sailed with a voter registration card and bc and didn't need id to fly. Not sure what this person did or if he was actually flying back to Canada from Miami.
  7. My understanding is anything up to $14, but I've only gotten alcoholic ones!
  8. Verizon Us has a $5/day plan for calling from Canada, and maybe Mexico, and $10/day most elsewhere.
  9. Two different issues. To get off the ship all you need is your seapass card. Dealing with immigration and customs is where you need a DL. Maybe ship took a picture of your DL when you boarded and might be able to give you a copy. Good luck.
  10. We got ours from our October Anthem TA recently. It is one of the new ones.
  11. Almost always due traditional /fixed time. Like having the same wsit staff every night who know our preferences. We also like a table of 6 or 8 as we like to meet new people, but that is your choice. Have never done the waitlist.
  12. Our Voyager cruise in January rt San Juan stopped in Barbados. We have passports but I don’t recall Royal requiring them for this cruise.
  13. On my edocs from October Wb TA the phone numbers for day of travel were on page 5 of edocs. When I replaced my passport in Copenhagen we called Royal as soon as I got new passport, the day before boarding. No problem. And yes we had completed checkin.
  14. Congratulations! Don't forget to call Royal, the emergency number in your edocs, and give them the new passport number. They need it to complete the manifest they provide at each port. Might delay your boarding if you don't call. That number is always answered.
  15. It's a very, very long walk from the United gates to immigration. US citizens are allowed to use the express, automated lines, if not traveling with children. Then to baggage. Had to wait a few minutes for luggage, not long. We had a driver pick us up so not sure where National Express is. This was this past October. Hope this helps.
  16. Usually ship's current time, not where it will be. That worked for us when I checked in for a sailing from Southampton and we were in Nashville. As to the app, yes, icon at the bottom. You can also use Royal's website. Sometimes one works when the other doesn’t. Login to your account, it we ill show your cruise (if cruise doesn’t show add it with reservation number). There will be a spot to click on to do check in. Enjoy your trip.
