There's a reason it's labeled "choco", most of it is not good quality and not worth the calories. I consider myself a chocoholic but like others, I want better quality and I generally don't eat Hershey's, I prefer higher quality, at least Lindt :)

I am all about the spa but their list prices are ridiculous. They key is to get one of the package deals on port days but there are some on sea days as well. Attend one of the short seminars "Ladies Pamper Party" and you get even better deals. Just be clear when you arrive that you are not interested in buying any products. Otherwise they will come in with a list of $700+ worth of products they are sure you need. It can be annoying but they are just doing their jobs and you may still get the list of products as a recommendation.

Remember when they didn't charge for the more interesting flavors of tea? I bring my own teabags these days...…..

Probably for the same reason you can be fully checked in online and still get a message reminding you to check in sometime in the week before your cruise. Like SadieN said, think of it as a computer glitch. It's part of the checks and balances and clearly one set of info is not lining up with another in their system.

Bummer! I really count on my magnetic hooks and clips for helping me organize my stuff!

People not letting you get off the elevator or stopping to talk right in the middle of the main walkway is my pet peeve. I hate it! WHY are you standing where everyone is trying to walk????
Haha, this bothers me in grocery stores, malls, wherever.......I don't know if people feel entitled or what, but I get to the point where I want to push and shove and my mom taught me better so I remove myself from the situation ASAP. It's just human nature I guess, a bit of "the world revolves around ME" kind of attitude.

No, it's not true. I just booked my flights for my 9/29/18 cruise and I was able to complete my online check-in last week. All you can do is give it a try and call Carnival if something is not working properly. But if you don't have complete info yet (if you haven't booked your flights, etc) then you can't complete your booking.

Carnival's price is pretty reasonable. I hated GoPortCanaveral; their bus was late picking up at the airport, and I don't mean by just a few minutes. They squeezed me into a van since I was solo, but lots of people were still waiting for their transport and there were no apologies, no refunds, etc. The hotel at Cocoa Beach was crap, and on the return trip I got gouged because I needed to catch the first van to the airport. Not a fan!

I would recommend one you can use as rolling luggage.........

I have only cruised solo and one of my favorite cabins is the 4J, "interior with obstructed view".
-
Keep in mind you do not need to load them to your account during your cruise. You can simply run up a bill then the last day go to guest services and pay off your bill. No need to keep running to GS to apply GCs.
Some ships will allow you to apply them to your account when checking in for embarkation.

The grand scenic ocean view are cabins 9200 and 9201, if 9201 is smaller it's marginal! The one posted with the dutchessathome link is a scenic ocean view (entire outer wall of window), the one posted by cruizinisthebest is the 4J :D, interior with obstructed view.....lol, all interior views are obstructed views but most are 100% obstructed, lol

I was underwhelmed by the BBQ and I am by no means an expert. I found the "sauces" to be to thin/runny, not sauce at all, not much flavor to them....
-
We are booked on the Vista in room 7201 it is a 4J with a window anyone stayed and have feedback or Photos?
I book 4J's whenever they are available, they are my favorite :)
Their description "interior with obstructed view" is definitely off but worth it at the price, usually $18 a day or so more than regular interior.
Only the corner 4J's (but not all) are usually HC cabins.

I like YTD. we usually get there when the dining room first opens and there’s no wait. Or we will get there about an hour before closing and there’s no wait.

Same here, I'm there when it opens and there's rarely a wait. I think there was a line on the last night but it moved fast.
I don't know how easy it would be to switch from YTD to early or late once on the ship.......

I loved it but I'm disappointed they changed the menu. The arancini is the best I've ever had!

Hi
I am pretty sure they don't have any medical exemptions for the cheers program.
That's the last thing I heard too, even for pregnant partners.......I can see both sides of it, I guess they have to draw the line somewhere but if someone can provide medical proof they are not drinking......

Thanks for the review.......but I have a Spa tip for anyone interested!
BEFORE you have your treatment, just tell them not to try to sell you anything and they won't. The most they will do is give you a list or "prescription" of what they used and/or what they recommend. Easy Peasy!

how can i get them, just visiting the website?
I think you have to join as a member, but it doesn't cost anything

The Vista spa has more steam rooms but less thermal loungers, I think it has six in the main room and the Breeze and Magic have 8, with another 1 or 2 in a hotter room.
-
I love the thermal suites on the Dream class ships and believe the Carnival Sunshine is similar.
I booked a spa cabin on the Vista before I knew that what they are calling the thalassotherapy pool is basically just a Jacuzzi, there are no waterfall spouts or long pipe lounger like the Dream class ships have, and it's about a quarter of the size. There are less heated loungers and they are right next to the Jacuzzi, but there are I think 4 different steam/sauna rooms. If you would be satisfied with those, it would be worth it, but I won't book a spa pass on the Vista class again unless they change their thalassotherapy pool.

I took pics of my view every single day no matter where the ship was when I had one of these cabins on the Glory, loved it! I would choose this one over a balcony any time, but not all ships have them....
-
Can neither confirm nor deny, but I heard they just changed the Chef's Table menu a month or 2 ago...
I had the new menu on the Breeze Halloween week..........but no way to know how long it takes for them to roll it out on all ships.......I was underwhelmed by it though :(

I wasn't a fan of his "love you" "love you more" schtick but what's to be offended about? I don't follow CD's but of course Matt is da bomb ;p
