Good Morning from Frederiksted, St Croix.

Can I get a morning where coffee isn’t an issue?!?!?  I feel more groggy in the mornings for some reason.  And therefore more prone to mistakes.

So this morning, my wife is actually up for breakfast and joins me.  So i make the coffee for setup for both of us.  Hers, no no problem.  Mine, I ended up putting coffee in the aeropress BEFORE i screwed on the filter.  Yup, coffee all over desk.  Fixable, but man, coffee is hitting back this week.  I swear i’ll get it right before this cruise over.

GM...I'm sure Amazon has some contraption that would make your mobile coffee making experience better...😄

  2. Rolex...TWO...I would guess at least $12K-$15K grand total...the second after I scrolled through my charges in the room and saw $12K-$15K purchase on my sea pass account, my daughter's a$# would be on her way back down to the jewelry shop with the watches in hand.  I would then be placing a limit on her account...😃

They are under shore excursions, when you look at your cruise at the Royal site.

Right now the Nellie's Beach cabanas for 2 are $550 for over the water, or $508 for a waterfront Nellie's beach cabana, and $338  for a Nellie's beach cabana.  🙂

Not listed for our cruise yet...We're scheduled to be in Labadee on Day 11...I'll keep checking...thanks.

About 20 excursions offered on the website for a mid April cruise.   Cabanas are $ 350-600

Thank you...we're traveling with my in-laws and would love to get a cabin.  I'm sure it won't compare to the Coco Beach Club cabana we had on CocoCay last September.

We are booked at the end of April and all kinds of excursions are available to book at every port.  Did you look at the app or on the RCI website?  I booked an excursion on their website.

Yes, everyday I check the RC website...in fact I just checked...lol...still no Labadee excursions.

We are booked for the end of April, including Labadee.  I looked at the shore excursions and they include 'bed bed' rentals, and 'beach lounger for two', in addition to cabanas.

At CocoCay, regular beach chairs under umbrellas were plentiful, and free.  Do they have the same at  Labadee?

Hello, we're also booked for the end of April with a stop in Labadee but no shore excursions are available. Can you share the costs of the cabanas please?

Not planning on sharing our Diamond drinks with in-laws. I was just thinking one of us Diamond members (Wife and I) might not get the 4 drink vouchers per person if only one of us books the beverage package.

Since you're both in solo rooms there's no obligation for both of you to get a drink package.  As someone mentioned above, your Diamond vouchers will be viewable along with the other Diamond perks (50% off one beer or wine, etc...).  The only difference between the vouchers and the package is the vouchers are shareable, while the package is not.  Hope this helps.

  8. We're in Burlington, CVS online able to book antigen test two weeks out.  Used CVS in Mount Holly for our cruise in September and have appointments tomorrow for our cruise this Friday on Freedom.  Results in about 30 minutes via text, email and also received a call from the Pharmacist later that afternoon to make sure we received the text/email.

Just replying to you saying your wife won't cruise out of there because of issues that have happened.  Is that because she thinks the ship is "cursed" lol?

Hahaha...I didn't want to say it but you did....thanks...lol.  I can't convince her...lol, no matter how much I show her we'd save in airfare...she won't take Carnival either, but for different reasons....lol

We've cruised out of NJ 7 times on three ships (Anthem, Ex and X Summit.  We haven't had any issues that I can recall.  Heck, we've had more issues out of Baltimore (10 times out of there) than anywhere else but it doesn't stop us from going from there.  One trip we had 30 ft seas coming back to Baltimore.

Waiting for more Radio updates 🙂

We've cruised out of NJ on Quantum.  The port is not her issue.

On Anthem out of NJ medical emergencies were always happening on the sailings I was on, which usually were longer than a week, thus probably attracting an older average crowd, too. It was rare a sailing wouldn't have at least one diversion or helicopter evacuation, or quick return to a port, or late departure, at some point, for a medical emergency. So not at all surprised Oasis is having similar issues with passengers.

I have to wonder if they've ever considered some sort of high speed evacuation hovercraft they could have onboard instead of diverting the entire ship in every situation.

We live in NJ and my wife refuses to sail on Anthem out of Bayonne.  Between the infamous storm video, propulsion issues, and medical emergencies she'd rather spend the extra on airfare to FL.

I don't think these come off. Seems to be a one way clasp.  The hanging part is freaking me out. Should have put on left side

Same bracelets we had at the Coco Beach club in the cabana.  I put one on when I left the area and realized later that they have to be cut off...fortunately for me it wasn't required and I was able to cut it off.  Maybe go to guest services and ask them to cut off the excess dangling part.

  13. I know you mentioned you're 31, but did you earn points prior to the age of 18?

The same thing just happened to us.  We turned Diamond during our cruise a couple of weeks ago and noticed that our kids (21 and 23) didn't, we also noticed that they each lost days.

My wife emailed C&A and here's their response:

As a benefit of the Crown & Anchor Society, minor children are eligible for equal tier recognition. They remain linked to parents until the age of 18 and are then removed from the household relationship. They will keep their status; however, they lose their relationship points and keep their individual points. Jordan had already been unlinked and Lauryn has now been. To advance to the next tier, they will build on their individual points and earn the points necessary to achieve that next level.

Strange that my 21 year old was unlinked prior to my 23 year old.  Almost as if they recently did a refresh...this may be your issue...maybe it took them 13 years to unlink you😀

Well, it looks like there's no way to do a check-in using the RC app without providing a photo of the CDC card. Not sure if the app would accept any other card/printout (didn't try it). The good news that I found my card, but I'll still try to use an app during boarding and see what happens.

Glad to hear you found your card in order to avoid any issues at the port.  After we got into the terminal earlier this month on Allure, there was a bunch of folks off to the side with a Royal rep and they didn't look to happy.

We were able to add pictures and a copy of the vaccination card using the app but when we were going through check-in they still took our pictures and took a picture of the cards...lol.

    Enjoy your cruise.
