Awesome balcony. Interesting to that there are some dividers on Adventure that look like they can open and not just solid walls.
Once on Adventure with my wife's parents our rooms were adjoining but not connected and our cabin steward open the balcony divider for us.

Appears they're starting to reopen again. I was able to book with Avis a couple of weeks ago for my September cruise.

Sailed on Quantum in Nov. '14, didn't mind the change in restaurants but felt different without the expansive main dining room.

THANK YOU!!! This is great! We are on Adventure August 28th. We are flying out of Philly on AA. Our airport can be a nightmare under normal circumstances. We are flying in the day of the cruise. I feel like I will be holding my breath until we are on the plane. We plan on getting to the airport 3 hours before our 11am flight. Looking forward to reading the rest of your trip experience.
Close...just read the horror stories yesterday about parking at PHL...hopefully by the time we cruise in September the airport lots will be open.

Just saw a pack of 12 different color generic silicon wrist bands for sale for $6.00. I think Royal should have their own made with the anchor insignia to avoid people buying their own and wearing them.
Thought it was mentioned on another post that the crown and anchor is logo is on the band...

93% vaccinated according to the below article. Very low guest count versus double occupancy capacity.
Thanks for posting the link to the article.
From the second paragraph in the article, "According to the company, 93 percent of those onboard are fully vaccinated (crew and guests)...". If the crew is presumed to be 100% vaccinated, in order to get to 93% does that mean that guests are really around 87% vaccinated? Or could the reporter misinterpreted Royal's statement? Or, am I using math similar to Royal math? LOL

Not for applying to C&A levels, however there's a free Facebook game called 'My Vegas Slots" where you earn rewards that can be used towards discounts off cruises, OBC, and casino free play.

We love the formal nights. Gives us a chance to dress up. It is so fun to see the changes in my granddaughter as she grows into a young lady. Choice of long dresses is fun to see. If they don't have formal night anymore it will be sad for us.
We enjoy it also although my son and I have scaled back from a tux to a suit...lol

Yes, have done four 13 niters and we had 3 Formal Nites. Love doing 12+ niters, they break out Menus not used on Regular Cruises. Lot of Great Food Choices!
ONECRUISER that's great to hear. We recently booked our first 13 day cruise for next April on the Adventure out of Galveston repositioning to Jersey.

If you go to St. Maarten go to Gulmohar's Whiskey Paradise. They have all the Blanton's editions.
Great! Thanks for the lead Sea Dog, we visit St. Thomas and St. Maarten in September on Allure.

Now that is just a silly idea. The un-vaxxer will just remove the bracelet then he/she will fit right in with the vaxxers.
Not if you make the un-vaxxer's seapsss bright red...lol

All they need to do is include vaccinated as part of the programming in the card. They scan your card when you enter Theater to verify you have a reservation.
Good point, but was the original poster's suggestion of the bracelet for the purpose of crew and/or other passengers?

Easy solution.
ALL passengers undergo testing and other protocols HOWEVER if you voluntarily submit proof of vaccination you are
- not required to undergo testing or other protocols.
- Issued a colored bracelet to be worn throughout cruise to assist crew in identifying who is not required to wear masks or other protocols.
Instead of a bracelet how about the sea pass card? How would you police who is supposed to be wearing the bracelet? Now, the sea pass card would be the way to go...lol... that's worn and used throughout the day...lol. How about green for vaccinated and red for unvaccinated??? LOL.

We sailed out of Port Canaveral once a few years ago. We rented a minivan for the four of us and our luggage, added extra cost for one way rental was about $160 then. For the return trip to MCO we rented a big size suv for around $100, no premium for one way rental. We're sailing this year with 6 and the car rentals are through the roof, or they don't have any cars available (read an article that some of the car rental agency's sold some of their fleet due to the pandemic). We'll be looking for a reliable shuttle this time around.
-
Understand that the car rental locations may be really busy on turn-around days, you have folks dropping cars off and on their way to the ship and others leaving the ship and picking up cars. PATIENCE and realizing we're on VACATION gets us through it...lol
