Ain’t No Thing, Like a Chicken Wing - Review
logan25 replied to New2cruise2022's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
The fish I was served at The Local on the Joy this cruise was not battered. I suspect popped from the freezer to the fryer. I would describe them as crumb coated. Shockingly, one day at lunch, beer-battered and fried fish fillets were served at the buffet. They were hot and crispy. Just once during this two-week cruise, however. -
Ain’t No Thing, Like a Chicken Wing - Review

IMO the current wing offering pales in comparison to the version of yesteryears. Buffalo, NOT! I am confident my opinion matters to NCL not at all. So, another food item done well bites the dust. Don’t bet started on the fried fish at The Local. -
Two of our excursions allow modify or cancel but the third states non- refundable and no modification allowed. Of course, the slate of planner shore excursions now lists the third tour at a price less than I booked.
-
I am traveling and unable to contact Celebrity directly to ask my question. When shore excursions are booked online through the planner, can prices be adjusted if the price drops prior to the cruise?
-
Well, it’s Monday. Website slow to load. Won’t process the prepayment of gratuities. Won’t put a shore excursion into the cart.

Is it always this bad? Can’t pay my outstanding balance through their website and their office is closed for Thanksgiving.

It’s a clever way to advertise the new ship.

Look what I found at the buffet this morning!

Let us know if you find bacon on the buffet two consecutive mornings. That would be noteworthy! -

OnPoint eMed for pre-cruise covid testing?
logan25 replied to mobilemac's topic in Holland America Line
We bought and booked a virtual appt two days ago. Linked at the appointed time (actually several minutes early) and waited for over 45 minutes and no host/proctor joined the meeting. I tried calling twice and requested a pn online portal link three times just so I could “talk” to someone. Nothing, nada. Gave up after 45 minutes and hightailed it to a local Urgent Care site for testing. -
You will use the app to check in for dining room. May not be needed for set dining (early, late). Not just for dinner, but also breakfast and sea day brunch in MDR.
-
Steak and eggs for breakfast used to be a draw. However, the cut of meat has seriously been downgraded, so may no longer be worth the visit to dining room.
-
Thanks for a really good laugh

As a first-timer, OnPoint worked me. It was the least expensive option I could find. I used the free government-supplied kit. -
There is no need to “locate luggage”. Use Easy Walk Off with luggage. Take a taxi (39 Euros) to airport. You will be at the airport in about 30 minutes.
