I looked at prebooking on booking.com, but they want a specific time for pick up. What service did you use? Thanks

The suggestion to add a couple of days onto the end of the cruise comes too late to do anything about it. You are assuming that we have a wad of cash leftover from flying halfway around the world and taking an upscale cruise. Good for you if you do. Not everyone does. But nice to put someone down for not being as rich as you obviously are. My post was to help me get to my flight, not to change everything around and stay a few extra days. If we do miss the flight, we will have to coordinate things on the other end. I would rather not have to do that. But thanks for your input

Not going to happen at this late date. We live almost 3 hours from Minneapolis. Have dog sitters expecting us to return on the agreed date. Car is in the off site parking at the airport with a date for pick up, etc, etc, etc. Flying from and to the midwest is not convenient, but it is what we have to do. Not everyone has the funds to stay in a big city hotel pre and post cruise either

We always fly in a day early to recover from the overnight flight. However, we usually like to get home after being away. We have animals that are being cared for by sitters and we like to get back to them. Staying an extra night at this point is not going to happen. Not everyone has unlimited funds to stay at hotels on both ends of the trip, but I appreciate the suggestion

I believe my PCP added the transfers when we booked the cruise. He booked flight ease for us but when u checked I found I could get cheaper booking myself. By a significant amount. I booked exactly the same flights out of Copenhagen so he was aware. However’ the flight left at 12:00 at booking time. I will check with him

They changed it by 30 minutes. Only flight out that makes connections without an overnight along the way

Yes. Flight is Copenhagen to Amsterdam then on to Minneapolis

Those were my thoughts. Just don’t know if there are available taxis outside the terminal

We have 2 1/2 hours in Amsterdam. London Heathrow is a nightmare. We had two hours but had to change terminals. If you have to do this, watch a you tube video on how to do it. Helpful but we still ended up running to the gate and were the last ones on the plane. We are Club Orange and supposedly can get off the ship in the first group. Hope someone who had done this for a close air departure can answer

Returning to Copenhagen after the British isles cruise. Delta changed our flight and it now leaves at 11:30 am. Currently are doing HAL transfer to the airport but am fearful we won’t make the flight if we have to wait for the bus to be filled. It is the only flight out for the day. Would it be better to self disembark and take a taxi? Are there taxis waiting outside the cruise terminal?

Just did this cruise, but in reverse, in March. Dress was very casual in the MDR. Think I didn’t even take a dress or skirt. Just wore dressy pants for Gala. The rest of the time I wore casual…not jeans, however. Did not see anyone dressed to the nines

You used to be able to go to the “library” and take out a pod that will take you on a tour of the art on the ship. That has not been available for years

I would be nervous about it. When we were new to international flying to a cruise port, we booked a flight to arrive on embarkation day. Our flight out of Chicago was delayed and delayed. Some people were saying that they were going to miss a connecting flight in Rome. We were clueless. We had no idea that there was a 45 minute bus transfer to the port. We got the last bus leaving the airport and boarded right at the last minute. That is the last time we ever flew in the same day as the ship leaves…even domestically.

I have sailed 2 cruises with casino rate and HIA and booked 2 more with the same, no problem. You need to talk to someone else

I specifically say, each time, “skinny vanilla latte with skim milk and sugar free vanilla”. Sometimes they repeat it for me, sometimes not. Does. Not seem to matter. It was always made the same

I agree! Excursion days and sea days where the bow is open, etc. found the crow’s nest very crowded with long lines. Had to get up pretty early if you wanted specialty coffee.

There is a door tag. One side says “privacy please”. The other side says “tidy up please”. The tag fall off the hall side of the door easily, so make sure it is firmly in place when you leave. If you have the “privacy please” sign up, they will delay laundry delivery as well. We did tell them at embarkation that we would only require service once a day, either in the morning or evening
