The other way to determine bed location on Anthem is to find a near by cabin with sofa bed, which has bed by bathroom. Then next cabin will have bed by balcony. As stated above the bed location alternates so this pattern continues for all cabins in that section. Even number over from sofa bed cabin has bed by bathroom and odd over ones by balcony.
Cabin 11216 has sofa bed so next door 11218 will have bed by balcony which agrees with the connecting cabin method posted above.
PS-Left or right cabin for connecting cabin method is determined by facing outwards or towards the balcony cabins from the ship's corridor or in front of and not when viewed from the balcony.
HI Rob
Can you help me figure out cabin 8156 on Anthem? I'm so confused.
Thank you so much in advance!!

I have a review...This was by far the most disappointing cruise we have ever been on. Day one disembark-ridiculous.
You disembarked on day one?? I couldn't read past that, without spacing your review is a wall of words.

The 3 smoking sections aboard the Anthem Of The Seas are located @:
1) Casino
2) Deck 14, port side, under the big screen (outside)
3) Deck 5 starboard (outside)

You should certainly look into creating your own photo book. Try a website like Adorama Pix -that's what I use- to make it online.
HI Amanda,
This post & their cruise was from 2012...

Hi there,
We'll be cruising soon and don't plan to use the main dining room as we love the windjammer.
Would it be wrong to remove the gratuities from our account and just tip our room attendant?
HI,
You're not a new member, not your 1st post, I am very curious & would like to ask:
Is this your very 1st cruise???

After we meet our stateroom steward & request certain things such as extra pillows, extra ice, hangars, empty the mini fridge, and so on..... I give the steward $20.

Just a lil confused, would like to make sure. Sailing the Anthem this February, we have Dynamic Choice. In the end, does this mean we will now be Anytime/My Time Dining and have the choice to pick 1 of the 4 complimentary dining rooms, no reservations needed??
If so, I think it's a good thing, if there is a long line at one particular complimentary dining room we can simply try one of the other three different dining rooms. No more reservations needed at Chic, Grande, Icon or Silk, and our Dynamic Choice will be considered 'My Time Dining', correct?
Thank you in advance.

If you are pleased with the service of your room attendant and your main dining room wait staff, how much do you tip above the prepaid gratuities? Thank you in advance for your response!
How much did you tip above the prepaid gratuities in the past during the multiple sailings that appear in your signature????

HI :)
Congratulations! Always best to place all jewelry (including the suprise engagement ring) in a carry-on, not in your pocket in case you have to empty your pockets for some reason, and certainly not in your checked luggage. Valuables always in your carry-on.

No food between 2:45 and 5:45 in the Windjammer, so forget late
lunch and no food ANYWHERE (except cookies) after 1:30. Not
good to be serving liquor and then no food late night.
I'm confused, isn't room service available 24 hours a day, or has that changed?

I think it's a good idea to have your receipt printed, but you should receive a zero amount bill at the end of the meal.
Thank you so much!!

HI :)
New to Royal, will be sailing on the Anthem this winter. Thank you to the members who answered my specialty dining question yesterday that was a comment within another post. It was in regards to paying in advance when making a reservation online prior to sailing.
I have another question. Do I need to print out my reservation receipt?? At the end of a meal in a speciality restaurant, that has been reservered & paid for in advance, when you receive the bill, is it $0...?
I'm certain I will receive some sort of receipt, zero bill, so I could leave or write in an additional tip. What has been your experience when reservering & paying for a speciality restaurant in advance, after the meal??
Do you receive something in your cabin that your speciality restaurant reservations have been paid for?
Thank you in advance for your help!
:)

If you make reservations for any specialty restaurant before your cruise, you will have to put it on your credit card or the website won't even take your reservation.
In other words, you pay when you book, not when you eat.
:)
It depends on the cruise. Some have discounts on all three alcoholic drink packages, not just premium and ultimate. Any discounts will appear in your Cruise Planner.
Thank you so much Merion Mom!!!!!
Have a great day!

you can reserve anything on the ship.
Can you answer the question if possible? In regards to making speciality restaurant reservations (online), (priority to) sailing??
Anyone???
(Question):
If you reserve a speciality restaurant online, prior to sailing, do you have to pay in advance???
I know reservations can be made while onboard. Would like to simply know if speciality restaurant reservations that are made in advance, online prior to sailing....do you have to pay in advance online when reservering?
-
nothing that can't be reserved on the ship
I understand that, but still have the question:
In reading this post I'm confused.
(Question) - Do you have to pay in advance when reservering a speciality restaurant online prior to sailing? Or just when choosing a speciality restaurant dining package???
Will be setting up a cash account online. Confused about (online) specialty restaurant reservations now.
I don't want to select a dining package, just want to make speciality reservations on my own along with the complementary restaurants reservations.
Can anyone answer? Thank you so much in advance.

PS: to my earlier comment (below).
We have Dynamic Choice Dining
Will be sailing on the Anthem this winter, our 1st Royal Caribbean voyage. In reading this post I'm confused. I agree with the others, once onboard make reservations right away for 'RipCord' by 'ifly', and also North Star.
Good luck! Bon voyage!
:)

I get motion sickness very easily. I want to try North Star.
Do I have anything to worry about? Thank you for your advice.
Have you watched any Northstar videos on YouTube yet?
I'll drop two videos below.

This.......
You jump to this conclusion on one persons review that you dont even know and you are surprised at the reaction? It would have been easier to say you read this from one person on one review and you were wondering if it was true or if others have had this happen. You sort of asked but at the same time talked about carnival buying ink from the cheapest bidder and it 'appalled you'? from one review? from someone you dont know?
sometimes its how the question is asked and how the OP gets appalled that reactions are made.
-
My upcoming cruise on Pride will be my first real Carnival cruise and I'm looking forward to it. But, I was reading a review that talked about how through some kind of weird combination of water, sweat & suntan lotion, all the ink on her Sign & Sail Card washed off completely? I mean I usually take my DL with me which gets me through island security up to a point. The notion that things could go horribly sideways because Carnival buys ink from the cheapest bidder appalls me.
Is this a common thing?
Was the post that you read dated April 1st??
With the cruising history that you have listed in your signature I'm suprised you even inquired about this..

I Really like when the ice in the ice bucket melts down and I just pour that coldness in a glass
(Suggestion):
Always ask for a plastic liner for an ice bucket. People use/do many things with them. Including using them if they're sick & can't make it to the bathroom in time.

The cabin Stewart came in and pulled out the sleep sofa but the 1inch thick mattress didn't fit it. If you sat on it you got the bar up your butt.
Was on the same cruise, I had a cabin steward named Stewart too!
