Situations like this make me glad I have a "real" TA

(meaning an actual person that one knows by name and face ) who will watch for me.

Don't know why more people don't use TA's since they don't cost any more.

My last sailing I caught 7 price drops! $630 in drops.

You really think a TA would have accommodated me in that regard, cutting into their commission in such a way?

I saved $$ booking direct and saved myself from 7 aggravating phone calls to a TA that could only have been made during THEIR OFFICE HOURS.

Two of my price drops occurred in the evening.

    Hi,

I love Carnival, however if your very 1st cruise on Carnival is going to be a 3, 4, or 5 day sailing, your chances for disappointment will be far greater.

If possible, try to plan a 7 day or longer sailing as your 1st Carnival cruise. HUGE difference between a short 3 to 5 day Carnival cruise opposed to a 7 day Carnival cruise. Like night & day..

    Thank you for posting PortSideCruzan!

Clearly there are more benefits to faster to the fun than simply boarding the ship early!

    Hi TinkyPatz :)

The best way to decide if FTTF is worth it to you or not is to evaluate the (7 Benefits) of FTTF to make an informed decision.

The 7 Benefits Of Faster To The Fun:

    1) Priority Security, Check-in and Express Boarding

    2) Access to your stateroom when you board

    3) Express luggage delivery to your stateroom

    4) A dedicated (4-digit phone line) & (special line) at guest services

    5) Priority dinner reservations

    6) Priority tender

    7) Debarkation choices (Early 'or' Late Disembarkation)

  4. That cruiser who reported it is currently on his cruise and is merely posting his current findings.

Aren't you that person? Seems that way to me reading FB.

    Hi Cruizinisthebest,

You just hit the nail directly on the head!!!!

Can't believe others don't see this as well.

He made a fake FB account and a retread Cruise Critic account.

    Sad....

  5. YOUR room was flipped, not all rooms. Some have the bed first, while others have the sofa first.

They ALL have a tub and ALL have a sofa. Disney has the best staterooms.

    Hi NOLA-Meatball :)

You resserurected a post & answered a question from March 2012..

One thing I wanted to mention is that we found the floors in the Lido marketplace to be slippery. My husband fell in there at night and I saw a few people slipping around as well as myself throughout the cruise during the day as well as at night. The floors weren't wet so I am not sure why that would happen. Maybe it had to do with the shoes people were wearing? I'm not sure but thought I'd mention this. I haven't seen anything posted about this before.

I've read about the Lido Marketplace slippery floors in many Breeze reviews.

Suprised Carnival has not yet addressed this issue.

  7. I hope the Freedom is using the new menu that the member below posted, looks yum!

    Chocolate bacon, oh my...

The chef's table is always such a fun and mouthwatering experience, worth every penny!

Will check back at this post to see if a recent Freedom passenger that had a meal at the chef's table can confirm the new or old menu as well.

Thanks for posting the new menu PortSideCruzan!!

    Hi Kcalcote2015:)

I'll drop the (new) Chef's Table menu below.

I'm not certain if the Freedom is using the new or old Chef's Table menu.

Hopefully another member will be able to confirm if the Freedom is using the new or old menu.

    Have a terrific voyage!
