Hmmm…we are currently on Vista, and the basic Starlink has been excellent, with only one short outage since we boarded on Feb.11th.  I have recorded download speeds up to 120 megs. Streaming services are not supported with the free, included internet.  To stream video, you need to purchase the upgrade version.  The basic version will support FaceTime with no problem.

Just don't do face time on your balcony, please

  2. I loved The Sierena, an Rclass chip.  Blew Princess away. Ill take a-small bathroom instead if a bigger room on a mega ship. Space in the room is nice, more space in the public areas is more important. Waiting in line for everything on Princess is bad. Poor food on mega ships is bad

Some rooms have a wall with pictures of yoga poses.  Some have sayings like "home is where the anchor drops" or "to live will be an awfully big adventure."  It's really a fun, funky, boutique kind of hotel.  The concierge desk was very helpful - they booked a day trip over to Piha Beach for us which was awesome.

I booked it although the rooms look very small, like a cruise cabin. Price ,considering location ,seems fair. The Hyatt looked great but not willing to pay over $500 a night.

We stayed at the M Social.  Right on the harbor, close to the marinas, restaurants, ferries, right across from where the cruise ships dock.  Loved it and would stay there again.

Looked it up. What is the  writing on the walls in the rooms?

That always get rave reviews but I pretty actively don't like watermelon. Should I stay away? We actually never ate at Reg Ginger cause we're not really "Asian fusion" food fans. But everyone seems to love it so much.

Not my favorite. I also dont like Asian Fusion but its everywhere.

I have thought that to be true since I first experienced the noise problem. Also, the fact that flat screen TV's have speakers pointed out the back so that noise is aimed at neighbor's wall is a factor.  Understanding the cause makes for interesting discussion, but better insulation because of such factors should have been considered by competent engineers. It remains a problem, whatever the cause.

Sometimes they put governors to limit volume.  An easy fix along with allowing captions.

Your arguments are based on mainstream cruise line behavior and not necessarily facts. Please show us the deep discounts on upcoming cruises.

Yes, they may happen but I don't think they exist in numbers worth worrying about. I'm sailing in May on BIE (the only thing I have "then" and "now" price points to compare) and on the few cabins still available on 4 sailings, at today's prices and available discounts, there is not a single DV6 cabin sold today that will beat the price I paid in 2022.  I'm glad I booked when I did.

If the argument is loss of interest, banks don't pay much interest, less than a percent where we live or less than $150 for a year on a $15000 cruise fare compared to the $900 I saved and the $1100 price rise since I booked. I'm even happier I booked when I did.

Banks have been paying 5% on CD’s for  the past year  fyi

The cruise which the OP is on (28th Feb) may only be a 10 day one, however that departure date is also sold as a 17 day cruise and as a 28 day cruise.

The OP's 'last night' won't be the 'last night' for many passengers.

All three cruises are sold out.
