Is there a freestyle machine on the Jewel? Debating on getting the soda package.

I'm near the Vaughan Mills mall Gap Factory store.
You were right, both dresses hit me around the knees but both are going back.
I compared the new black cowl neck dress with my shrunken Old Navy One and Mom and I both like the old one better. It works pretty good if I pull the waist down to a drop waist and I've already sewn up the giant arm holes on it. What is with the giant arm holes on some clothes. Is showing an inch or more of the side of my bra in fashion now?
The blue/white striped dress is cute, love the fabric and the sewing is nicely done. However the top gaps away from me a bit and it's more than I want to fix. I have a lot more up top then the model.
Had my Mom take photos this morning but Photobucket is fighting my trying to resize them. I thought it was pretty funny that there was a Gap ad with the same dress on the Photobucket page. Please don't mind the no makeup, no shoes, arm band covering an oven burn, etc...I think the addition of a Springer Spaniel makes up for all that.
The dress looks great on you! At that price, it's almost worth it to have it altered.
Yeah, I noticed that too that every website I went on, I saw the bag pop up in the advertisement! LOL
I went to the Gap factory store on the weekend and didn't seem much in terms of dressy dresses, but did buy one that I will probably wear for boarding on my next cruise.

Thank you, Virtopia! Your post gave me two new websites to shop for shoes for my daughter who has wide feet. :)
Oh great! I'm glad I could help :) they are great websites for wide width shoes.

Your pictures are amazing, especially the one with the sun setting through Dazzles.

I'm glad the the bag was a winner at least.
I love tracking numbers! Mine has been shipped and they say it will arrive by the 17th. I used to work next to the Gap warehouse, so I'm thinking Thursday the 11th as the latest for delivery.
I'm mostly worried about the length of the dresses. I'm only 5'2" but it's had to tell if skirts will reach my knees when the models are usually tall.
You will probably get it today.
I'm 5'4" and when I put the dress on, it hit me right above my knee, if that helps.
They are opening a Gap Factory store near my house on Friday and I got a 15% coupon so I will stop in.

At least it wasn't a total washout! I hate it when I order something and spend days anticipationg its arrival and then when it comes it doesn't fit!:(
I know, I'm glad it wasn't the only thing I ordered. But for my upcoming cruise, I plan to be very casual and they were a bit fancier than I was expecting, so I got over it quickly LOL

Oh now we're talking sandals?? LOL
I recently bought these in both colours and they are super comfortable; I have to get WW shoes and they work perfectly for me, even though they are wedges.
I also bought these .. with that price, I would've been a fool not to!

Well, I got my dresses today and they are both unfortunately a no go. They couldn't even zip up! My chest just wouldn't let it happen LOL Oh well, I also ordered a bag that I'm now in love with, so the whole purchase won't be returned.

Going on my first southern Caribbean cruise in September on the Jewel ... I have a feeling it's going to become my favourite cruise yet! :)

I am going to go to marshall's in the AM to look for the dress. Thanks for sharing where you brought it and the price.
I hope you can find it or something similar as I'm in Canada and I got it last year.
Let me know how your search turns out :)

Hi all.
I love this thread! Such a great idea & very helpful for first time cruisers like Myself. I am struggling to find something for formal nights. Can someone tell me if the below picture, taken of myself recently, is the dress appropriate? I'm 32 & far from a size 0 lol. I feel it maybe a little "night club" like? Any feedback, good or bad is appreciated :)

I love that dress! I've been on the Liberty before and you will be fine for formal night.

I ordered the cowl neck in black, the blue was gone and I also got the blue strapless to try. The shipping and returns makes it too good of a deal not to try them.
Nice! Let me know if they work out for you. I got my shipping confirmation today so I may have it by tomorrow. I'm anxious to try them on - for such a great deal, I'd hate to have to return them.

Hello!
My name's Deon and my next solo adventure is in the next several weeks, thank goodness!
This will be my third solo cruise, and I have 3 more planned through April 2015 ... Hi Gayle! :D LOL I'm actually looking at that Sept 20th sailing as well for next year.
This will be my first cruise doing MTD and I actually plan to only eat there once as a couple from my roll call invited me to dine with them. I'm looking forward to doing my own thing for dinner the other evenings and will also be visiting Chops for one evening.
I don't know of any solos on my cruise as of yet, but that's okay. I plan to have a great time regardless and have already interacted with some wonderful people through my roll call.

This picture just screams VACATION! Love it, love the dress, and it looks wonderful on you.
Thanks! :D I hope to take many more of those types of pictures on my upcoming cruise.

Thanks for all the comments on my pictures, ladies!! :)
geocruiser, I got the dress from Marshall's for about $15. It's a cruise favourite of mines and is already designated to go in my suitcase for my upcoming sailing.

I love the strapless one, really cute. Thanks for the reminder to check there; I found a dress on the Gap site that looks just like an Old Navy dress I had bought online last year and DH shrunk.

The sizing may be too large but it will most likely shrink again. :o
I just signed up for the emails also.
I like that one you posted as well; cowl neck works well with my bust. The strapless is my favourite and now I'm thinking I should've ordered them in both sizes, just in case but oh well. I could only use my coupon once so I wouldn't get them for the same price.
Right now, there's a general 20% off on the website that you would be able to take advantage of.

I just purchased these two dresses. When I saw the prices and saw that I would get an additional 35% off from an exclusive email offer, I couldn't help it. That puts them each around $10 - $12. I think I ordered them one size too big, strictly because of my bust, but even if I have to get them altered, it will be worth it :D

The email I got back had pretty much the same information, but one detail that was my deciding factor: the pass is only good for 4 hours. I'm sure they overlook this, but I can't take the chance that they come to escort me out after a 4 hour period, so I will take a taxi to the beach and enjoy my time leisurely.
My email also just mentions lunch and drinks.
-
Hope you get someone to help you out; the pricing was nice but flight wouldn't have made it that big of a savings.
-
I absolutely love that bar set up!
I'm at over 600 days as well, but I have 3 booked before then, so I hope they can tide me over.
-
Thanks for all this information!
I'm on the Princess website now, seeing if I can put something together, but it's the flight that's gonna do me in. Flying to California from Toronto is rarely under $600 RT.

This booking is not until Mar 21st, but an 8 night Bahamas Cruise on the Explorer of the Seas is $1350 for a deluxe balcony. Also, for returning guests, there is currently a savings certificate through the Crown and Anchor program.
After the discount, it comes to $1200 CDN so it would be slightly cheaper for US passengers. I put a hold on it.
Do you prefer a boardwalk/Central Park View from you Balcony on Allure or Oceanview?

Definitely ocean view - I like reading with the sounds of the water in front of me.
